Finished the steering wheel. Had to swap my stalks for jdm ones, (for horn connection and indicator canceller) with horn re-wired, and space them forward 5mm. The cowels are also from a jdm classic.

Looks and feels 1000% better.

Awesome work, hats off to you.

You need to do something about the faded dash though.

I don't know if anyone as asked you this (if they have sorry for the repeat question) but what spray gun are you using? my cheap old Sealy suction gun as just given up the ghost and I'm wandering what to replace it with, it's been OK but I'm thinking a better quality make such as Devilbiss or Sata may be worth while, so given the HQ finish you've achieved I'd be interested in whether it was obtained with a pro gun or a DIY type.
I realise prep is the key to a good finish but the gun does play a small part, and I need all the help I can get !!!

Hey fella, its literally a cheap (£12 off eBay) silverline gravity fed gun. Its certainly not pro but seems to do the job well enough

I suppose it just goes to show what you can achieve with budget tools, and just how important the basic prep work is, you've done a great.

Ha, not been here in a little while!!

Small update, have finally got round to getting some later headlamps! I had a small issue that meant one had to be split to sort it, so I decided to paint the shroud black on them both whilst they were apart

Looks so much better and I can actually see where I'm going in the dark

I'm in the middle of two projects to go on the car, so hopefully some updates soon

Big boy, who've you been talking too?

Black crystals are on my wish list......... its my birthday in March if anyones looking for an idea for what to buy me

Got some of these before xmas

so stripped them to bits

Only had two seized pistons so not too bad.

Just finished stripping and painting them. Got some SS pistons and seals from godspeed so will hopefully start popping them back together later

I've got a spare driver's side black crystal side light.

You'd just need to find someone that crashed the drivers side for a spare passenger one.

Well after LOTS of cleaning and wire brushing, followed by a lick of paint, my four pots now look like this

Just need to build them back up, I have 8 brand new stainless pistons and a new seal kit courtesy of Ian at Godspeed

Discs, which came with kevlar pads, also from godspeed

Hoping to get the fronts on at the weekend

These came today, rear two pots and a spare set of front four pots (bargain price) which I'm going to refurb and put on wifeys car to save having it off the road! Rears will be finished as per my fronts.....
