Ok i agree you have a point there (you sold me with the MK1 Escort bit) but i was making the point that it seems to be that the **** driving Scoobys are normally in the old ones (Is that better)

One of my regulars got rid of his battered old 99 uk classic scooby, swapping it for an sri 150 vectra, to be honest, i think the vectra is the nicer car, as his scooby was a complete and utter dog.

Vectra was quite tidy IMO

Speaking to him yesterday, he has just been offered a swap for the vectra, for a 95 classic scoob, apparently with 360 bhp, apparently the vectra is not fast enough, so he wants another scooby

Bioforger, the area is not that bad to be honest, compared with some of the others i have been to, but if you offer cheap products, you usually have the "cheap" types of customers arriving to buy them.

We had some of the Newcastle United reserve team in the other day for a wash, we are 5 mins drive from the training ground, i couldnt tell you what the blokes were called, as i hate football and think it is for ******* but the youngun almost creamed his pants to be in the company of such "heros"

They both seamed to have matching black BMW 1 series cars, which i thought was strange?

They seamed like decent enough blokes, putting rubbish in the bins and hanging the vaccum hose back up like you are supposed to , the main players must get paid a lot more and go elsewhere

I had a vectra years ago, a 1.7td that i bought from a dealership that i was working at i was giving up "modded cars" so bought something sensible, i had the thing 2 weeks and started modding it

It ended up with a full mk2 gsi bodykit and a set of 18"wheels, looked quite nice in white IMO

I figured i was just wasting my time with the veccy, so i bought the 97 WRX instead

6 years later and i have given up modded cars again, hence why i drive the MG

The old chestnut of "Its been parked up for a few years"

IE: its another complete dog, with 160bhp instead of 360bhp, will see how things turn out when/if he does the swap.

I cant imagine it being a clean car.

I think the 360 bhp bit was key.

I think drivers of old Scoobies are a bit prone to spouting bo77ox about power outputs...
A new "zorst" seems to magically release about 50bhp in most cases...

The bloke is a decent enough chap to talk to, he works the doors around here, but he is not the most clued up chap i have met, he brought his RB5 to show me a while back.

His RB5 was in fact a green uk turbo (ie his last "dog" pmsl)

The same thing seems to afflict BMW's as the get older,

5 Series M sport technic, Hartge Alpina Alloys, Full M technic "pack", Electric "Pack", "Angel Eyes" mystical M power magic sprinkled onto an otherwise bog standard 190,000 mile
rather ratty 520i giving it M5 like performance despite massive engine wear and borderline head gasket failure. Private plate
"BAZ 384384844848" and a "Big Boar" system

What are these "packs", "Full electric pack", does that mean someone is bigging up their electric windows, they all have them ffs !

Always driven by older versions of the Vectra driver, usually called Roy or Ron.

Jacko - BMW do seem to come up with some comedy package names.

Mine came with the very rare "courteous" pack which includes indicators but omits the "radar controlled tailgating" device many seem to have fitted. It also comes with some comedy CDs which encourage the driver to smile and not scowl.
