This defeat will really hurt us.
Never did we deserve to lose that. Dominated at Old Trafford. Even the ref with 5mins couldnt help us.
Winning ugly wins tittles
Evra was awesome.

Ref was bad today but i wouldn't say he contibuted to your loss directly, if he'd have given the pen for you then the first goal would never have been.
Was a good game otherwise, apart from Eboue diving after everything in the last few days.

and we did but good old Mike Dein said nope you can't have that and ruin my game
My bad temper earlier was due to the fact I had to be dragged after watching that result to spend 2.5 hours watching Harry bloody Potter at the cinema Could my day have been any worse!

I agree, as per my post in the United thread
Fletcher, deffo pen on Arshavin
Weak Pen on Rooney
Fletcher going up in my estimation
Gallas looked like Gallas of old (Chelsea)
Gooners were better
We cant pass anymore
Arsene sent off, joke
Ref, ****
Thought it was a proper Man U **** match of old though, thoroughly enjoptyed the spirit in which the 2nd half was played..

Twas a decent game. I thought it was blatant penalty Fletcher on Arshavin and the replay confirms that. Not a red card as not last man and ball & tackle were going away from goal.
As for Rooneys, watching Live at normal speed looked a blatant pen. Slow mo replays makes it look more like he dragged his feet but you have to remember he was running at full speed to get to the ball. You can normally tell by the way they go down and it looked pretty genuine.
As for the palaver at the end - what a waste of time. Common sense just went out the window there.
So thats 5 goals for Rooney now. I wish Id put my money where my mouth is and put him down for 25 goals this year.

Not a red card?
Take a look at the laws of the game:
http://www.fifa.com/mm/document/affe...fthegameen.pdf
Here is a little quote for you,
''Sending-off Offences
A player, substitute or substituted player is sent off if he commits any of the
following seven offences:
• serious foul play
• violent conduct
• spitting at an opponent or any other person
• denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity
by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a goalkeeper within
his own penalty area)
• denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent moving
towards the player’s goal by an offence punishable by a free kick or a
penalty kick
• using offensive, insulting or abusive language and/or gestures
• receiving a second caution in the same match''
''Direct Free Kick
A direct free kick is awarded to the opposing team if a player commits any
of the following seven offences in a manner considered by the referee to be
careless, reckless or using excessive force:
• kicks or attempts to kick an opponent
• trips or attempts to trip an opponent
• jumps at an opponent
• charges an opponent
• strikes or attempts to strike an opponent
• pushes an opponent
• tackles an opponent
A direct free kick is also awarded to the opposing team if a player commits any
of the following three offences:
• holds an opponent
• spits at an opponent
• handles the ball deliberately (except for the goalkeeper within his own
penalty area)
A direct free kick is taken from the place where the offence occurred
(see Law 13 – Position of Free Kick).
Penalty Kick
A penalty kick is awarded if any of the above ten offences is committed by
a player inside his own penalty area, irrespective of the position of the ball,
provided it is in play.
Check laws 12, 13 & 14 of FIFA laws of the game 2009/2010.

What has Wenger done?
Sky Sports | Football | News | Wenger slams Utd approach
This is just bitter and it will effect our squad. As said, whats done is done. Its over. its refreshing to see the man u fans on here admit who the better team was and decisions went their way
Was Fletchers tackle 2 footed? Cant remember, if it was then it has to be a red as he didnt even touch the ball except with his hand lol
It evens up last season CL semi final as he didnt touch Cesc and missed the final. Well thats at least what Fletchers been saying

You're deluding yourself if you think it was a red card tackle. He would have cut inside him yes but there were still other defenders in the box. Not once did the commentary team, pundits or managers mention it may have been a sending off. Seriously you're just sounding more bitter than Wenger now.

Firstly Arshavin didnt have an obvious goal scoring opportunity. There were plenty of utd players closer to the goal than him.
Secondly your later on highlighting rules in reference to the awarding of direct free kicks.
And it wasnt a two footed challenge. It wasnt even one footed as no studs showing with both his legs trailing towards his own body.
Jesus you didnt get a penalty but scored straight after. You could have missed the pen or been saved so Id be happy with goal myself.

The ball was also moving away from goal caused by him pushing the ball past him.
"Violent conduct" is striking, kicking an opponent on purpose (not a mis-timed challenge where the striker moved the ball well even though it was very rash) head butting etc.
"serious foul play" it wasn't that was it? even other Gooners can see that it was a yellow card and a pen.
Now you tell us why it was a red card offence
Oh and its not just about reading the rules, its understanding them too which you clearly don't.

**** me
Seems Ashley has a contender in the Arsenal camp. Jasey you may have to give up your "CFH" for Brownpants
So much nastiness creeping in, no need for the cvnts and rapists jibes fella's.
Wenger's comments say one thing for me, his passion is back and he has belief in his team again, he hasn't bitched like that against United for at least 4 seasons
I thought his comments aimed at Fletcher we're a little OTT, yes one or two rash challenges, noteably the one on Arshavin, but 20 ? no way.
Wenger should count himself lucky, at least Phil Nev has left Old T , he would have had a lot more to complain about and the Pizza would have been flying instead of the water bottle !!, lets not forget how he single handidly took the invincibles apart (kicked the shit out of them) at Old Trafford and basically started their downfall in that one performance, haven't won a trophy since IIRC.
