so a bad tackle is cheating now is it, that is scholes forte and i would imagine arsenal have a far worst 'cheating' record in the league over the last decade or so

What is cheating is getting caught/slapped in the face(which i would have had no complaints if he'd have been sent off) going down like it was a right hook then realising he's not getting him sent off and getting up and running after him to do erm nothing

The scholes incident I was talking about was after he had a yellow, he held of a wigan player by putting his hand in the other guys face right in front of the ref

Also Vidic should be banned for at least 3 matches as that is the rule but as he plays for United I doubt anything will happen

Come in here quite often to be honest but generally only post when i see a comment that shows me a lack of knowledge or understanding of what they say, I wasn't trying to make any of you regular gooners bite for one second i know there is no point and its not my thing. I like to think i'm not biased in my opinions on opposing teams, although peoples absurd comments does get my goat

I'll meet you here 5pm sat to either congradulate or console you, unless one of your players has the audacity to even think of shirt pulling or grappling in the area

Looks like we are through, not happy with the Eduardo dive though. Not something i want to see this season.

Another outstanding performance so far by the back 2. Gallas has been class so far and the new lad reads the game as good as ive seen before

Are you Arsene Wenger .

Blatant dive from Eduardo - not good !

Still Celtic have nothing to offer - Have they actually had a shot on target ?

Blatant dive IMHO. I hope he gets a retrospective red card. There's just no excuses for such dishonesty in the game. I'd say that for any player in any team.

It's OK if it's against Man Utd - but no need against anyone else

WTF

Drogba, Stevie G and Ronaldo have been masters for years at doing this and now an Arsenal player does it ONCE you want to send a hitman round. I dont recall anyone on here saying give either of them players a red card after match before

I hate divers and dont condone it for one second. It made no dif to the outcome anyway really as they offered nothing up front.

on positive note, Arshavin is class like having Overmars back

Edit* Scoobynutta didnt see end of post about saying same to all teams. Sorry for rant. Agree some sort of rule should be made to deter this sort of thing. Id agree if Eduardo got fined etc. I think red after is harsh but it would teach them

BBC SPORT | Football | Europe | SFA chief calls for Eduardo ban

Grapes must taste very sour up in Scotchland. What's it got to do with that bloke?

Maybe Gordon Brown will have his say next. Well he's not said much about releasing the Lockerbie bomber yet, has he?

IMO it probably was a dive (I am not an Arsenal fan), but I am 100% certain that it made no difference whatsoever to the result of this tie, so hardly worth turning into an international diplomatic incident, is it? If anything, the Referee should be reprimanded for missing it. Had he seen it correctly, it would have been a yellow card for Eduardo and that's it.

Eduardo being made centre of attention to take heat off Scottish idiots who let Lockerbie bomber free

reports are saying the Scots want blood unless he can prove he has an ilness that makes him dive, then they will forget about it

Great dive from Ronaldo..... err Eduardo last night!!

I'm a bit fearful for United on Sat... All the pressure is on United to get a result and Arsenal are flying at the mo. Hoping Berbaman can teach that new centre back a few harsh lessons about the prem. He's not come up against anybody decent yet!

Your right mate, if anyone can test them it will be your front 2.

We are on a high but both teams are going into it on big wins. I cant see how this game can end in a draw tbh. its going to be a rubbish first half due to nerves and miss placed passes.

Arsenal to win 2-1

On another note i absolutely love this response form Wenger

Eduardo might be a bit cautious because of the injury that he had. He might have jumped out of the way.

To be fair Smith has started to try and sort it in Scotland - retrospective ban for a hun b@stard that feigned being hit by an Aberdeen player on the last day of the Season.

He's quite right to ask everyone else to sort it out.

Eduardo should be banned for three CL Games IMHO.

Eduardo cheated and it took a bit of the gloss of a classy performance I admit it. I am sure he regrets it. Diving is not an offence that has resulted in 3 match bans in the past as far as I know. Whereas hitting someone in the face ( like Vidic did on the weekend) has resulted in many bans in the past.

Two match ban is not enough IMO, The penalty for diving should be alot more to discourage others from doing so
