Default We flow when we are confident

Dear Brownface,

We scored six goals on Saturday and their keeper, Paul Robinson, still had a great game. And that 6-2 win over Blackburn leaves us in a strong position.

Despite the fact that we have lost two games, if you look at the away games we had they are in places where other teams can drop points. We have had four away games to Manchester United and City, Everton and Fulham. We got six points but we had the impression we should have won the two games in Manchester and that made our resolve even stronger.

Cesc Fabregas had an excellent game against Blackburn. I felt he had already given a good performance on Tuesday night against Olympiacos too.

He started the season a little less sharp physically but in the last two or three games he has become stronger and stronger. We know that in every game he creates chances. What is important for him is to score goals and today he scored as well so that's a relief for him certainly.

I have seen him play quite a few good games. When we went forward as a whole team on Sunday we always looked like we could score and when you look he is always in the middle of it, at the start or at the end. A team goes always naturally through its strong points, that's the way of the game. So it goes, therefore, through Fabregas.

The best answer to all the transfer speculation over Cesc is to play well on the football pitch and to show that you are happy to be where you are.

The best way to show that you are happy is to be happy to play football with your partners. And with this team there is something in the side that is light-hearted and enjoyable to watch. Why? Because you feel they enjoy what they do and they enjoy playing together. That is, for me, the most important thing.

The fifth goal - scored by Theo Walcott - was fantastic. When we are confident we have a flow that looks like the goals could come at any moment from anywhere. There are some strengths coming out of this team and we have to add some discipline defensively because we struggled a little bit defensively. But we looked always like we know we will score goals.

I have to say though, it's difficult to have so many people going forward and to have everybody straight away defending as well. It's a consequence of our philosophy.

Finally, Thierry Henry was watching from the stands on Sunday and he inspired us because our players wanted to show him they can score goals and follow in his footsteps.

It is good to see Thierry back here although I believe he belongs more to Highbury than to Emirates Stadium because certainly, coming back to Highbury, he would have more memories than here. But we were happy to have him with us. He would have scored on Saturday, certainly.

Thanks for your continued support.

Lots of love,

Arsène Wenger

much love to thierry. If arsene had implemented the song and diaby to hold after we were 2 up versus the hammers last week we would be top now.

However nothing could upset me today seeing as weve just put three probably shouldve been 6 past the scum . Come on you gooners!!

I see Walter Cronkite or whatever he's called, is about 500 shares short of taking over, looks like he's making his move, good or bad in your opinion ??

I also maintain we still need a World class striker to replace Henry. We don't have one that is consistently banging the goals in and will get 30+ goals a season. The goals are coming from all over the place which is great but it would be even better with a 30+ goal target man up front - Van Persie is not that person. I still think Walcott could be made into an Henry replacement as he has the pace and his finishing is good enough to be the target man.
United under Fergie have built their success in the main through the goals coming from all over the pitch..... just thought I'd throw that in for you.

I agree with the Manc.

What would you rather, A team of forwards/attacking midfielders that clock up 8-10 goals a piece a season or one striker getting them all. If said striker gets injured then what?

Ade was our main striker. No he has gone and we are playing the 3 frontman, we are awesome.

I think we are playing some of the best attacking football i have ever seen with this system. obviously players can be bought who are better than diaby/denilson etc but we are doing well.

Whats the point in having a russian billionaire taking over when the manager won spend the money? I'd much prefer Dein back but investment is investment at end of the day.

Perhaps this is what he needs, a decent run in the team that's if Wenger plays him. Also want to see Vela get more playing time because he shoots from distance which many of the team refuse to do. Probably why Wenger isn't playing him much as he doesn't try and walk it into the net

Any news on theo? is he anywhere near playing. Could be a good time to test arshavin upfront with it being his prefered position.

The way fabregas is going i'd be tempted to put him upfront. The problem with Van Persie, once he gets a bad injury he keeps tweaking it for a good 6mths to a year afterwards, so it could be a long spell with him only playing small parts in the team.

Not really worried. haven't really got any hard games coming up except Chelsea

We have in form players to step in. Eduardo will get a run in and get his touch back. Theo nearly back and Nasri upto full fitness means we have an almost full squad

Granted Robin has been great but as a team you have to be ready to lose players to injury. Morocan lad in January maybe on the cheap as his contract is running out

Good news for The ****, Eduardo signs a new deal , just as Liverpool were sniffing around, looking who to buy with the money they get when they have to sell Torres

thought the team was pretty good 2nd half. Liverpool didnt look like they believed they could win. I think the ref had a hand in it also. we look to have got a good few decsions our way. How was it not a penalty??

Well done boys for sticking at it. Lucky but if we are to challange we need results like that

Wenger has said he is going to spend i believe in an interview. Hopefully it will be as soon as window opens and not 2 days after it closes lol
