Thought United in the main played well but again there is a cutting edge missing. I know it's easy to blame the ref but **** me some of his decisions were terrible. United free kick and the wall was 6 or 7 yards away. Fletcher needs to man up. moaning Scottish **** at times. Oh well hopefully beat Arsenal to 2nd place.

Default Game Plan

SAF went to the bridge and played WR as a lone striker.
He will not score if he's venturing deep to collect the ball.
The Ref was poor, Rooney mouthed "twelve men" before leaving the field.
He didn't shake hands with the officials.
The standard of refereeing in the league has regressed over the last three seasons.
Offside or not the goal wasn't defended properly.
Overall it the standard was low from both sides it had nil nil written all over it but JT popped up with a late goal.
The league misses Ronaldo and Alonso. It was more competetive with them.
I hear that draw specialists Man City have cemented fourth place as their own.
This is according to the experts. radio 5 live Stan collymore, Ian Wright and Andy bent nose irish cockney maggot.
January may be a busy month for some.

Forget the offside for a moment:

1: It should never have been a free kick, Fletcher got the ball.
2: Drama Queen Drogba was not only offside but he also pulled Wes Brown to the ground. Had he not done that Brown would have been in a position to deal with the free kick.

Disgraceful refereeing and just how many of the Chelsea players feigned injury. I saw several examples some from Terry and Lampard too. I'd rather not win a single game than have to resort to tactics like that to secure a win.

Pretty accurate stuff, I'd add to that Terry's challenge on Valencia would have been a pen 8 times out of 10, Rooney wasn't offside in the 1st half. Evans should have been booked but I thought Drogba was at his best diving about as usual.

I rarely moan about refs as it's a godforsaken job but although he tried to keep the game flowing he did made quite a few **** ups, the incident with Cole and Terry, Drogba's booking, Fletcher clean tackle on Cole.

Dont mind getting beat, Liverpool beat us fair and square, Felt we deserved something today and I just find Chelsea will cheat their ***** off to get a result Drogba, Cole, Terry and Lampard all feigned injury, I hope the last 3 dont try it in the WC.

That may be but as people are happy to point out when United get favorable decisions, we're pointing out that they also go against United. People don't want to admit that as it doesn't give them the excuse as to why United have won the league the last 3 years.

Team loyalties aside for a second.
You can't deny that united should have had a penalty, it wasn't a free kick as Fletcher got the ball and the goal shouldn't have stood because Drogba pulled Wes Brown to the ground. Had Brown not been felled Terry's free kick would have hit him on the head never mind Brown having to move to deal with it.

If you are saying that none of this is correct then you know absolutely nothing about the game of football.

What about fat Franks very wayward hands/arms in the penalty area during a cross

I feel we were robbed yesterday, Chelsea did not deserve to win that game. I thought personally that United were the better side.
Chelsea really are a shower of b@stards I hate Terry, Drogba, Fat Frank, both Cole's, Ballack

Just wait until March for the Old Trafford return game - Which I'm going VIP to

So you were happy with the Drogba booking and the Carvalho booking

I note you only disagree with the commenst about the ref

Can someone tell me who it was that slapped Fletcher round the back of the head as he was running behind the ref across the halfway line, it happened so quickly and wasn't really mentioned.

On the upside we should take heart from that performance and I'd like to think the players will feel robbed and will step it up from now on, I know Rooney certainly does "twelth man" .

I'd like to see more of Obertan, looks like he has a lot of promise, i'd like to see him start a game or two, you kind of get the feeling Fergie is keen on him.

I'll answer each point.
You can't deny that united should have had a penalty :-Yes it was a penalty
it wasn't a free kick as Fletcher got the ball :-I think it was a free kick. This season and last season player's who take the ball and man(which imo Fletcher did)is a free kick.
goal shouldn't have stood because Drogba pulled Wes Brown to the ground:-Your right, maybe the referee didn't see it due to Joe Cole blocking his view i don't know, but how many times do you see defender's pulling shirt's in the box at free kick's and corners and penalty not given.

Carvalho's was a booking,he knew the ref had blown for a foul and Didier's wasn't a booking but his past will/does go against him.

i didn't see a slap,so I'll have to take your word for it.

Utd should take heart from that performance, after all the stick they took after the Liverpool game.I'll will give your Center half's some praise on how they handled Drogba and Anelka. The Midfield ran they heart's out to stop Chelsea's Midfielder's which they didn't do against Liverpool.

They get payed well therefore there should be a decent level of competency.

The Johnny Evans Drogba clash, Okay DD was touched slightly there was no need for the dramatics afterward though. His reaction was terrible. It was comedy. He deserved the yellow for the reaction. If your hurt do don't move or make noise. Drogba was pathetic. His crying wolf means he'll get less and less. He is a dirty cheating tw@t there is no mistake. His actions are undefendable.
