Decent game last night from United but expected at least 3 goal victory. AC really are a spent force and it shows how rubbish the Italian league is that they are 2nd. Lump on Chelsea to hammer Inter.

As for last night Rooney is superb and my fave bit from him was not in front of goal but about 60 mins in when Valencia had tried to scroe at the back post from nani's cross. Rooney put his head back and sprinted a good 40 or 50 yards to fill the space left by Valencia until he could get back. Compare that to Ronaldinho watching G Nev swing cross after cross into the box and it shows you the difference between the teams.

On the subject of Nani. Great ball for the goal which we know he can do but the rest of the night was so frustrating watching him being wasteful. The lad has no brain.

Happy with that draw. Not easy but avoiding Barca was the main one. Hopefully robben and ribery get knocks soon.

Happy with that draw. Pretty much what Id have picked given the choice.

Hopefully Arsenal can do Barca this time and setup another all english Final. We certainly dont want Barca winning a 3rd trophy in 5 yrs.

I reckon Man u will be in the final with either Barca or Arsenal. Big ask for arsenal but if they dont make too many mistakes then they got a chance.
How good would a Man u v Arsenal final be?

So much for the "open draw"

I stated in another forum yesterday Uefa want the big two in the final again, probable now.

Well I'll be cheering on he Gooners, Id like to play them in the final, if we can get past Bayern and the Frogs

LFC have to many players who give the ball away. We'll never compete if we keep giving the ball away.
Well done today Scumbags.

Horrible run of games though now for United. Bolton away in the late Sat kick off before flying to Munich to play on the Tuesday and between the return leg at OT they have Chelsea.

Outplayed for large parts, players giving away cheaply and Rooney missing a few chances and now probably out for a couple of weeks. Not a good night with too many underperforming, lets hope for better come saturday.
