I fully understand that, and included details of a possible 'inside job' in my post. I recall a couple of years back seeing a TV 'Police, STOP !' show which featured a case of a trainee in a main dealer parts department ordering duplicate keys from Germany for top spec £70k+ Mercs in exchange for cash. It does happen !

PS
Glad you like the car mate, hopefully now at least one ESC person realises what ive been on about for the last 18 months.
And my comment still stands that nobody is to judge the FWD blah blah blah till they have driven the new RS.
It will show a clean pair of heels to 99% of imprezas out there, be it on road, track or in the poxy twisties

Just love the way it tucks its nose in during corner entry and the feedback through the wheel is really nice.
Although, lets just say we had to reel it in at 300bhp even in standard form

oh yes turn in is very good, have been a bit quick with it at times and had to adjust. Im sure with some practice all will be excellent going by my first thoughts of it.

A note of caution to the OP. My brother was telling me today about a guy who bought his new RS at Benfield Ford in Leeds, drove it home, and less than half an hour later it was gone. It was chased using the tracking device, lost for a while, then reacquired. Ultimately it was found abandoned with no damage to the door locks or ignition, and with the owner still in possession of both keys. All employees at Benfields have allegedly been interviewed suspecting an inside job of supplying a duplicate key and owner details. This is third-hand information from my brother, but quite scary if you own one.
