The extenders fit onto the adjust ****, what size adjuster **** do the Racing Logic use? You should have bought BC, you wouldnt have any issues then

I'll meansure my **** for you later mate, lol

Has anyone got a pic of the extender? I'm assuming its got an alan end which fits in, but assumptions are the mother of all **** ups, so would like to see what they look like and figure out if I can use them on my Racing Logic.

Thats just to stop a barrage of people ordering them for a range of other brands and then wanting to send them back. They simply sit on top of the original damping adjuster **** and are held in position via a grub screw. If the diameter of the dampeing adjustment **** is the same then theyll fit

If anyone wants to grab a bargain then we have two sets of inverted GC8 1992-2000 BC Racing RM Series kits up for grabs.

They come complete with camber adjustable rear top mounts.

They normally sell for £949, these two are available at the group buy discount so 25% off making them just £711.75.

They are the more serious fast road, track or race orientated kit and you can choose spring rate from 6kg.mm to 10kg.mm on the front and 5kg.mm to 10kg.mm on the rear

Id advise 6/5kg.mm for a road car going up from there depending on how serious a set up you require. 6/5kg.mm is perfectly usable on the road but it will be on the stiffer side. My STi6 ran 6/5kg.mm inverted and was blinding on track, punching well above its 300bhp weight at a combined Evo/Impreza/Skyline track day.

We have no plans to run another GB on coilovers alone BUT, what I can do is offer a cracking package deal on a set of coilovers plus your choice of Whiteline products to compliment the coilovers

I can sort a good deal

Is that of any interest to anyone?

Just for peoples general info we are now a key Ohlins Road and Track suspension kit distributer. See our new double page ad alternating between Banzai and Jap Performance.

Website coming soon. Trade enquries welcome.

Ok, deep breath, are you sat down?

£2784.24

That includes vat. The reason the Impreza kit is so expensive is because the cars run MacPherson struts all round. The MacPherson design is considerably more expensive than the double wishbone type.

Also consider resale value of the kit. Youd expect to return £1500 when you came to sell it meaning you can run it on your car for an indefinate period of time for just over £1200 cost to you.

Are they worth it? Well this is an instance of you getting what you pay for. Ohlins offer a 2 year warranty on their products rather than 12 months that everyone else offers. They can do this because of the quality of the materials and the manufacturing tolorances they work to.

For instance, I went for another meeting with Ohlins last week and whilst going round one of their production centres we stopped to have a good look at one of the Road and Track kits. I noticed that the locking collars were aluminium and I asked them about issues with the locking collars corroding to the damper bodies. They pointed out that aluminium isnt just aluminium, there are lots of different quality aluminium that factories can buy. Because they only use the highest grade materials in their products you simply do not get issues with the locking collars siezing against the threaded damper body.

The BC Racing kits are extremely durable for a product within their price point and indeed for a product at double their price point. The BC Racing kits punch well above their weight but we still advise copper slip between the locking collars and damper body and between bottom mount and damper body.

The Ohlins kits are full of little design features that put then heads and shoulders above anything else on the market. Things like a needle that expands as it gets warm ensure that the damping rate remains constant, no matter how hard the car is driven. The Ohlins technical centre I last went to build a lot of full race applications. They see a lot of other brand kits come in from all the big names you can think of. They have had top branded products go on their in house damper dyno for testing on various damping settings. they found that by the end of th etest the damping rate on the hardest setting was lower than ont he softest setting because the oil had thinned off so much and the unit had no inbuilt way of dealing with the situation. This exactly replicates what the car fitted with these products would see on track, i.e deteriorating handling over time.

The Ohlins control this issue with innovative design.

The Ohlins Road and Track kits (bar the Porsche one which is a different product) all feature the Ohlins Duel Flow Valve technology. This is an internal valve that was introduced into race car kits to allow the cars to ride kerbs without upsetting the car. Normal kits will try to launch the car when it impacts a kerb, as youd expect. The DFV technology works as a blow off valve that allows the oil to pass by without the impact being fully transmitted to the cars chassis thus helping prevent lift off and keeping the car wheels in contact with the track.

So what? Well Ohlins have taking this technlogy and altered it to suit road cars. In the Roadn and Track kits the DFV is put to good use absorbing sharp impacts from potholes and road imperfections. This allows the kits to run a relatively high damping rate whilst retaining a very high degree of refinement and comfort. It eans yu can have your cake and eat it. A very high level of refinement whilst also retaining extremely high levels of competancy for fast road and track work.

Read more about the Duel Flow Valve technology here:

Nice video demonstraing the product here:

Who would be interested in 6 months interest free credit on a coilover kit? Or a brake kit. Or whatever you might be after?

We cant discount the BC Racing or Ohlins products but I can look at offering 0% finance for those of you wanting to spread the costs over a 6 or 12 month period.

Woah guys, the question was meant as it was worded, i.e. literally who would be interested. Im in the process of investigating the possibilities of offering finance. I have a company that Im speaking to about it and on the face of it I will be able to offer 6 months interest free on BC Racing and Ohlins kits but Im looking for feedback at the moment, not taking orders.

If there is interest then Ill look at moving forward with setting up the details

There is no catch 10% deposit, the remaining to be paid in 6 equal payments. £699 plus £9.20 carriage. Total £708.20.

10% deposit = £70.82
Remaining to be paid = £637.28
6 equal payments of £106.23
Total repaid £708.20
Interest paid = 0%

You order the kit on our website as normal, when you go to checkout you choose 0% finance as the payment method. Enter your details along with payment for the 10% deposit and you will get an instant acceptance or decline for the finance. An electronic signature is acceptable so theres no paperwork to sign.

Sounds great, Im doing more digging now

I would be interested in the 0% deal. I was thinking of getting BC coilovers early next year but if I could get them sooner this would be great.
