Just ordered coilovers today.....

I phoned with about 20 questions and Kev answered them all with patience.

£509 is a great price I am reliably told by the guys who'll fit them for me..

By the way I'm also told I'll need a complete alignment redo after this - just got this done after 4 new tyres 1.5 weeks ago.....wish I didn't always do things in reverse !

 

bren is there any coilover sets left for a MY02 sti if so how much thanks

 

We have sold out of the Apex kits at the moment but have both GDB and GC8 on order. We have some landing in the UK next week and then more on subsequent shipments.

We have just one spare GDB coming on the next shipment.

 

I`ve ordered a set of the Apex ones, looking forward to getting them :-)

We are still very much still doing BC Racing units and they are as popular as ever. We just cant discount them so offer the Apex branded units an an alternative

We had a large shipment arrive yesterday with a number of Impreza kits on it. Your kit might have been one of them. If you give me your full name then Ill check.

We have a sea shipment arrive every week so its not so clear cut

I havent got the geometry checked yet but it is already a massive handling improvement. I'd say it's the best money I have spent on mods, I'm dead chuffed

My Apex coilovers were dispatched yesterday. Didn't expect to see them for a week given the terrible weather, but they arrived this morning!

Result! Hope to get them fitted next week.

We are out of stock of the Apex kits at the moment as they are selling extremely well but you are welcome to preorder to secure a set. We have one sea shipment a week arriving so we are continuously replacing stock meaning the lead time should never be particularly long

At the moments the kits are tending to sell before they arrive so preordring is the only way to guranete a kit at the moment.

We are bulking up our orders to reflect demand but it takes 9 weeks between our placing an order to meet the latest demand and the goods landing with us so theres always a delay in building up to the correct level of stock.

However, as said, we have Impreza stock arriving weekly

 

ok im in can you tell me what coilover would be best for my MY02 sti and the price please. the car will be used for an every day car but also run on a track day say twice a year if that.

 

Id go with the default rate of 6/5kg.mm. That will offer a similar ride to the original STi set up on the softer damping rates but you can then turn the damping up to stiffen the vehicle for track work.

Theyre £509.25 plus £9.20 carriage.
