Sorry, But its called a time and place and COMMON SENSE!!! If you want to drive on public roads doing what ever speeds and handling you do it at night time on roads you know very well and have a clear vision of other traffic that's ages away from you or you can stop.

I bet 1 of my Cosoworths that Everyone of you mother ******* in here has broke the law on speeding and even drove like complete dicks in day time and traffic!

If you say no then your talking billy bollo'x out of your little ***** hole!

I shall await to be shot down in flames because I live in the real world!

I dissagree with racing on the highway! But for a valid reason I will admit I used to drive like a **** in my younger days but after i SAW A MULTIPLE FATALITY ACCIDENT it soon wised me up!

Having seen the consequences for that all I can say is its really not worth it!

I agree there is a time and a place for a blat e.g. 3am in the morning when nobody is around but not in the middle of the day when its busy!

And as for being a do gooder I will take that as a complement I have always been brought up to have respect and value others.

This is exactly why I left subaru ownership, the whole image thing has killed the car. People just look at scooby owners as chavs and boy racers. Unfortunately there are alot of people driving scoobies who have reduced the brand to the slums. Unfortunately that stigma carries over to everyone.

I respect you for grassing. These idiots are why the impreza is where it is.

Grassing for drink driving or hitting a parked car all well and good, but I'd shy away from a question of driving standards...

I'm old enough to know better, so wouldn't drive like that in a busy area in broad daylight, take it on track, and then we will see who has the biggest *****....

IMHO

A real can of worms this one, with so many different views on the op. I have lost 2 friends in the past through their own actions. One on a motorbike and one in a car. Now although they did not injure or kill anybody else they left a whole lot of hurt and pain behind them which i still feel today some 25 years later.
My son is 20 and has a Terzo and do i worry. YOU BET I DO. but you have to hope that you have brought them up right and respect your views on speed, manners, etc and life in general. But it is not in your control, it is in his/her own hands to make his / her own decissions. I have just Bought my first Scooby and my son is on his second the reason for mine is to go with him to track days and RWYB at Santapod to spend some more quality time with him before he flies the nest and gets married and starts to run his own family. Keep it for the Tracks. You dont need to prove anything to the chav in the Astra or the rep in a Mondeo. These cars have the speed and the heritage and dont need to prove anything to idiots. Scoobies when driven by Dik eds are leathel weapons and will cause a whole lot of hurt, not only for the people left to pick up the pieces but for all of us scooby drivers also.
