Another rubbish and completely pointless episode. Hammond is the biggest ***** on TV, i'd actually rather watch Piers Morgan interview danny dyer than listen to that floppy haired metrosexual ***** with his stupid voices and daft reactions.

As I pay for it, i believe i have the right to watch and to be critical over it and as i also pay for this site i will use it to give my opinion about TopGear on a thread titled "The weekends Top Gear thread" as i feel fit to do so.

TopGear is on par with a Transformers movie in my opinion, you need to be a brain dead spakker to find it entertaining anymore.

As mentioned before it was going to be scrapped anyway on a court ruling (owned by a drug dealer) does anyone actually listen to the show?

No, as Eastenders has never been good. TopGear has went downhill since Richard Hammond and Clarkson were given God Status. Hopefully one day they will get presenters that aren't ********* and give us a car programme we deserve on a dreary Sunday evening.

Well my comment was tongue in cheek, hence the smilie () in case you missed it.

But to reply to your comment, I get what you're saying, but if you don't like the show in it's current format, with the current presenters, I really can't see the point in watching it, only to have an excuse to moan about it.

Yes, you pay for the channel (as do I), but I don't feel the need to watch something I no longer enjoy, because of that. If it was the odd episode you found crap, then fair enough point it out that you didn't like it, but to watch something you consistantly don't like and isn't going to really change it's format certainly within an existing series, is just pointless imo.

Smiles are wasted on me.

How have u came to the assumption that i consistantly don't like it? I actually rather enjoyed the first episode of this series and felt that it was the start of the show getting back on form but sadly i was wrong.

Apologies if this goes against the grain of licking the **** cavities of Clarkson and Co.

Just thought by your comment of 'another pointless episode'. Not assuming, as I don't know how you feel, but the same kind of comments (not by you) have cropped up for several series now, and I don't ge why people bother watching something that has changed format, to be more about entertainment, than maybe car reviews throughout.

I enjoy it, as it makes me laugh at times, and doesn't tend to bore me too much for a car based programme, but then I am a girly, who is easily swayed by a little light entertainment.

I'm certainly no **** licker, and if I found myself not liking the show anymore, or disliking it more than enjoying it, I'd just have a quick moan, and not watch it again.

I'm not trying to have a go a you.

Maybe these are the same people who like S&M/Bondage?

Now if i had made that comment i'd be strung up for being sexist.

Thought it was good - TG is the only entertainment show with a bit of car **** thrown in - its not meant to be a serious chin stroking review of sensible family motors FFS, so just enjoy it for what it is - an hour of light hearted amusement.

Really hated the Renault - the Focus was OK, but not in neon green ! - is it just me who wonders who will buy them ? they are obviously designed to appeal to early 20 somethings, but at £25K each and looking like a chavved up Corsa owned by a 17 year old, I cant see that many people actually buying them. Cant imagine ANYONE over 30 ( who are probably most of the people who could afford one ) wanting to be seen driving one !

For £25K you've got your pick of Imprezas and nearly new Evos - just as fast, but with 4WD ( and not made of plastic with all comforts removed to try and make it fast enough like the Renault ! ) or if you arent so fussy about having something new, £25K buys and awful lot of 5 year old car.

I noted the RS only "just" pipped the MKV R32 on the lap times by a second;

Considering a R32 is heavy car (40kg heavier) plus a whopping 60bhp short on power and 90lbft short on torque; The RS should absolutely tronce it, but it doesn't. That to me speaks volumes; the RS's engine is not using all of its power potential (ECU throttle management strikes again ).
