Oh not entirely fake it seems

"On 26 May 1998, Bear entered record books by becoming the youngest British climber to have successfully climbed Everest and returned alive. He was only 23 years old. Only three years earlier, he had a horrendous parachuting accident while serving the British Special Air Service (21 SAS) in Southern Africa, breaking his back in three places."

For Phil-WRX

Casio EQW-500.

Make no mistake this is a big watch........
The weight is quite light and each night it will sync time without any trouble as confirmed by signal recall mode indicated by either the second hand pointing to a,"Y",or a,"N".
The watch can Sync time with signals originating from either Anthorn Uk or Mainflingen in Germany.(wave ceptor has nothing to do with Mattees waves, but radio waves to set the time automatically to the atomic clock)
Features you have Home time mode where you configure your watch to recieve either UK or German signals therefore although the watch cannot recieve signals from outside of Europe you can still set another City as your home town.
You have World time mode whereby you can view the time in 29 other major cities depicted by hour/minute hand moving round to selected city and second hand pointing to the City code around the inner/outer dial.
You have two stopwatch modes but these are limited to 30 minutes each stopwatch there is NO Countdown feature there is also a tachymetre scale for speed calculations on the outer Silver casing.
The Crystal is Mineral and scratch resistant.
There is a Digital date/mode window at 4 o'clock position.
Water resistance is 100M/330 Ft, OK for Huyton Leisure's twelvie.
The watch has a battery life of 2-years under normal usage conditions.
I believe was released in the UK as part of the edifice range and in conjunction with Formula 1 racing driver David Coulthard.
I really would classify this more of a Pilot's watch,as to the luminousity of the hands/markers it is not too bad and lasts around 4-5 hours now the LED backlight lights up the whole dial and works perfectly in that respect.
Its a big watch and I really like the busy dial.
