It's hard to know about the difference, but on our gravel car it runs on automatic, we also link the wiper bottle into the jets as well, so it pulls 2/3rds IC bottle 1/3rd washer bottle (hence no screen cleaner). We will use all the water up through about 2-3 stages or 15-20 miles.

From what I have been told when we are running the ALS and tanking it through a stage then yes it is worth it

. Driving on the road sections at slower speed we still hear it cutting in.
