You have to admit the lead guy in Diversity who does all the choreography is talented.
Each routine they've done has shown tremendous creativity.

Saw it for the first time tonight - Boyle was dreadful. And the little girl, was she singing in Cantonese? Sounded like it to me? Couldn't make a word out.
Though Flawless and Diversity were both fresh - with Diversity edging it on creativity.
The sax guy surprised me in third?

Their choreography all the way through has been inspired
And we'll definitely be seeing more of the little kid with the glasses in the future
I'd have been well unimpressed if the guy with the sax had one, I've got ten better than him in my ipod

Good point, it isn't really a talent show in most cases, its an ability show.
Anyone could take 3 or 4 years of intensive tuition and practice, and be as good as the ( quite average ) sax player playing bland songs from musicals.
Talent would be someone who came on and sung their own song, or played their own composition that was as good or better than a song from Joseph or a Michael Jackson cover.
Same as the dancers - OK you need to be fit, but dancing is something you can learn over time ( look how many acts were from dance and stage schools this year ! ) - inventive choreography like Diversity ( and the lad who won last year, who was self taught ) do isn't though, which is why I think they were rightful winners.

PS: turns out one of the papers today says that the sax player had actually done some songs for Cowell prior to the shows ....

Certainly can't complain about the result, although I was surprised that Stavros Flatley weren't third.
Susan Boyle is a complete nutjob isn't she, lifting up her skirt at the end? What was she doing?!

What was Piers' comment about Susan Boyle all about? Saying it was the single best performance he's ever seen in his life, or something along those lines. Haha

When it comes to Susan Boyle, she has an outstanding voice which is great to listen to. It doesn't matter a stuff what she looks like, she was there for her ability to sing. All this unpleasantness about her appearance is not only unfair but it is of no consequence when it comes to her sheer talent and the pleasure of listening to her.
I thought that Diversity were also very good and have no quibbles about who actually won.

Simon Cowell making any comments about peoples appearance is taking the p155 a bit - just because not everyone has orange skin, tippexed teeth and some bizarre pubic hair transplant onto their head, doesn't make them less attractive than him !
He really is a **** though, what will he be remembered for ? certainly not bringing the world great talent, supporting cutting edge music or discovering anything earth shattering.
He'll be remembered as the bloke who sold his soul to try and force the lowest, most commercial and artistically bankrupt forms of music onto the lowest common denominator marketplace ( while charging them all £1.50 per minute for the privilege ).
And before anyone starts - I dont care how many millions he has, or how many homes in different countries - the man is basically Satan, only without the style.

The problem with Boyle is that she does not know how to conduct herself in public and comes across as a right nutjob. The dance groups probably worked the hardest in terms of rehearsal but overall if that programme is the best this country has got to offer in talent then its not saying much at all.........
