Ford Racing Puma beats 22B
I actually know the driver of the 22B and yes the puma did leave him for dead, but what the above info fails to tell you is the 22B driver is 94 years of age and was smoking a rather large pipe at the time, infact he had'nt even got it out of 1st gear.
ahh well bad drivers are to blame not the 22B

I've kept up with a few Scoobs now, ask the guys on the York run or Dave Hodkin about the run to Le Mans. Don't get me wrong the Scoob is without doubt quicker in a straight line but chuck some bends in and it's more interesting than you would imagine!

Hmmm That will be interesting ! (as long as I actually get my RSOC membership sorted)
I was offered a drive of 1 and passed it up when I was shopping for the Scoob (as I thought it was too slow) wish I had a least driven it now
for the money it costs it must have seriously entertaining handling !

My Boss has one - he's had many quick cars and rates the Racing Puma despite the woeful lack of power considering what the chassis is capable off - Apart from the engine, it's pretty close to a good track car setup already - brakes and cornering are the equal of many more exotic cars, so I'm not surprised in the least that a decent driver can surprise the hell out of half-commited 'supercars'...
anyone who just can't get their head round this needs to go to more track days and see what a track instructor in any old shopping trolley can do.

Hi all,
I've been reading this thread with interest, I know it happened because I was driving the FRP.
I have driven around Silverstone a fair few times and know the circuit fairly well.
The 22B p|ssed all over me on the straights, but I caught him back up on the brakes and could carry more corner speed.
Perhaps the 22B driver was crap, perhaps he was just taking more care of his car than me, perhaps the FRP is quicker over a complete lap or perhaps I was just driving my **** off to beat a Scooby.
I have driven a Scooby and was very impressed, if my company would have let me, I would have got one there and then.
I'll be at this years RS national day, might see some of you there.
Cheers
Mark

How come all the comments have stopped now that the owner of the FRP has turned up ?
Come on, when is the next track day, preferably at Silverstone and in the dry, I will have my new brake pads and tyres by then.
