Anyone recommend or not the Goodyear Eagle F1's at £124 each?

If they're the F1 Asymetrics then definitely.

What size and where from at that price?

No they are directional 245/40 R18 YR

The asymetrical's are £156, is there any great advantage between directional and asymetrical?

Yes, simply put, the F1As work on the hatch, the others don't.

One thing to bear in mind though about the F1As, great though they are. Goodyear no longer make them in that size (245/40/18) so if you buy a set and then have an unrepairable puncture you're back in the same position as you are now. It's for exactly that reason that I've been holding off on buying them and have been looking into alternatives. Top of that list being the Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas, which also work very well on the hatch apparently.

Don't get the GDS3's (directional)

Awful on the hatch (I have them currently and they are not a patch on the SP600's)

The assymetrics are better

That will be great but why 4 I don't want to change all of them as they have only done around 4500 miles just the opposite two?

Based on the comments above about the Eagle F1's being discontinued has anyone got any other suggestions? Had Michelin Pilot Sport 2 suggested but they are at £175 do they also come in asymetric?

right, He has got back to me

£180 per tyre (includes delivery)

issue is that Goodyear (dunlop) hold these in stock in germany and send out when an order comes in ???? so you are looking at 4/5 days delivery

Sounds great. Does that include VAT and can I order just one? What are the contact details?

I had mine done at Prosport, Stockport. I just depends where in the NW you are.

Pete was still cheaper than my local dealer even after they offered me a discount.

UPDATE

Subaru finally found one but wanted £240 + VAT, they are gold dust apparently - idiots.

Thanks to Mark and Barry have one on its way for £180 but its going to be a week before it arrives. Don't fancy driving on that girly wheel all week. Told Subaru Assistance they should give me a courtesy car as you shouldn't ride on a spacesaver for the mileage I do for a whole week and its their fault the tyres aren't available, they just laughed! Apparently Subaru use to use Mondial but now use AA and have loads of complaints about them so much so you now get the offer to use Mondial when you ring up how bizarre is that?

Think the 330s still comes with the 5 spokes it used to come with, shows them on Subaru website anyways.

The 330S came with the 5 spokes a few months ago, assume it still does?

The options were several 19" wheels!
