I used to get 360 driving like an ol'fart, but shoved some 18" monzas on there and now im down to 300 at a push. Im hoping a remap is going to push it back up a few MPG. Ive heard (from websites, which are selling of course) that i can get better MPG with some NGK spark plugs, at £50, 1mpg better would pay for itself quite quickly as I do 100miles a day, how true would that be?

I'll have one when they are sorted / production models!

Local place can paint it, and if you do some glue I / they can bond it on!

Does it hold water at base of window or has it drain holes moulded in??

Urethane is very easy to paint, exactly the same stuff from same suppliers as original P1 rear spoiler!!!!

That was Walldonway in Larkfield. Had a type UK sticker in the back window so I assume it's the base model STI.

Loving the spoilerless boot look.

If you go back a few pages there is info on what spacers to go for.

I fitted my overlays. The key is to take the lights out, take your time and make sure you have a hair dryer handy for the tricky curves. If you are not that handy then maybe best to pay someone to do it.

i would prefer to do them on the car as they are fixed in place, I have done some peoples headlights, they dropped them off to me, find it frustrating as hell that the light unit moves around when i need some resistance to heat, stretch and stick lol

Hi
I have a catback system been on my car for 2 months.
Its 2.5" so no need for a remap.
Straight through center pipe and still quad exit as PPP pipe but each set has its own silencer so its a much nicer noise and breathes easier.
Best sounding Subaru pipe Ive heard and if I still had my car would still be on it!!
Have a butchers on the Haywood and Scott site for some sound files.
It is pretty loud but in a good way ;-)
Offers please cost me £750 ish cant remember only a few months back so sensible offers please.
I have a part worn Dunlop tyre too if anyone needs one got loads of tread on it
Arron.

Last Qs about the springs Phil, promise .... firstly where did you get them from (only Revolution seem to list them for STi) and did the instructions say to cut the rear bumpstop?

And a Q open to anybody that knows How much do Litchfield charge for the red rear light things and the JDM av panel?

Cheers,

Tony.

Right, Mr Rawle has worked his magic and car is completely transformed. Now has oodles of midrange and reasonable top-end and you find yourself seeing big numbers very quickly. As ever Bob's map is effortless (why I only ever use Bob) in operation, Ecutek is still the daddy (none of this open-source rubbish )

Estimate of 365hp with standard downpipe still on car, only mods being Magnaflow center/backbox and fully-forged engine.

Interesting was that the downpipe was very restrictive and estimated knocking about 30bhp off ultimate potential if we fitted ported headers, up-pipe, induction kit and decat downpipe so circa 400bhp potential given right breathing set-up.

Bring on Sunday

Anyone fitted the Lamin-x tail overlays, had some samples through and the quality is second to none but its pretty think stuff so not sure what it will look like in comparrison to the clear triangles?

Are Iain's thick does anyone know?
