Yep DHL have just asked me to pay mine before I will receive my package, £23.00 in total.

No, it's still there, a rumbling sort of knock at low speed. The only thing that hasn't been replaced is the shocks,, although someone on here did mention a phosphur bronze bearing either on the top of the shock, or the mount. The car goes fine, so the noise could just be transmitted from elsewhere. With all the Sti suspension kit, beefed up roll bars, poly bushes and mechanical lsd, it's not as quiet or complient as it once was.
On the subject of import taxes, smugly I have had none from 2 Japanese purchases, a Cusco rack brace ( small and low value) and an Sti strut brace. American purchases have had tax added at selling point.

Japanparts and Nengun. The top brace came in over a bank holiday, so must have slipped through

Which windscreen supplier have you guys used to replace your windscreen and have you been happy with the work?
Mine has 3 chips and would like to replace it at some point but don't want to risk a careless fitter scratching the paint under it when they try to remove the old glue.
Thanks!

Might be worth dropping @BrownPantsRacing a PM I know he had the windscreen replaced on his Fozzy not that long ago with a genuine screen from Japan through his insurance.

Hi bud. I went through my insurance company who put me through to their windscreen company (Auto Windscreens), so it only cost me my £75 excess.

They immediately tried to palm me off with a non Jdm FSTI specific screen and wanted me to accept a UK version with a top tinted sun strip. I said no and had to keep pushing them for weeks until someone in their organisation signed off on a genuine Subaru Jdm screen. It was even in stock in the UK, so once approved it was fitted within days.

Just don't accept the UK screen and press to them that it will effect the resale value of your (RARE) car if not the genuine (slightly green tinted, no sun visor strip) Jdm screen.

Took me a good month of chasing but I got it sorted in the end.

Oh and ensure they supply and fit a GENUINE seal around the window. On my previous Impreza they fitted their own sealing strip which looked the same but caused massive wind noise to the point you couldn't hear the passenger at anything above 40mpg. On that car I had to get them to take the new windscreen out and fit yet another screen with a genuine Subaru seal around it which immediately stopped all the noise.

Good luck!

@ BPP thanks.
I am more concerned about the quality of work (as well as using genuine parts of course) but I don't think (/hope) the 20th anniversary uses a different windscreen than a standard UK STi, I could be wrong though!

The driver's side bolster had started to collapse and the leather getting discoloured so I had the bolster repaired, the web stretchable fabric under the main cushion replaced, and the outer leathers from both seats cleaned and dyed at Capital Seating. I was going to have the leathers replaced but they suggested the dyeing, they do that in high end vehicles they work on (Ferraris, Aston Martins etc). They had two E-types in the workshop for interior restoration.
The above pic if following the repair.

UK without CW/P (Cold weather pack - wiper heater element ??) 65009FG031 / with CW/P 65009FG041 UK screens have a sun filter made up of dots ::::::::::::::::::

JDM without CW/P 65009FG001 / with CW/P 65009FG010 both are listed as グリーン (green) so assume a green sunstrip or a green tint.

Thanks Don! 65009FG010 it is then since mine has the CW/P.

Sun filter made up of dots, do you refer to the one above the rear view mirror (mine has them too) or around the top of the whole screen?

Just between the sun visors.
Definite green tint to your screen

Has anyone used these?
What brand are they?
I phoned ICP and was told they are made in Japan, they didn't want to reveal the brand but told me they don't import Chinese inferior quality parts.

Subaru wants £110 for a set of front droplinks but before I order an aftermarket part I want to make sure they are good quality.
Alternatives I've found are:
https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/trw-2204733.html
https://www.onlinecarparts.co.uk/lemforder-7182516.html
Thanks.

Edit: I've ordered the ICP ones.
