The line that tees at the front (yellow) is the crankcase breather branch that returns to the air inlet. The branch connecting to the PCV remains in place.

No just another way of doing it and removing the pcv at the same time.

Imo you'll do a better job by removing them as you can wrap the overlay right round the back of the lights. The lights have a channel in that collects dirt and they start looking green. When I took mine out I cleaned all that out and wrapped the overlay over this channel so it won't gather the dirt again. Many people have fitted them while the lights are on the car though, it's more work taking them off and can be a fiddle without a second pair of hands.

I went for smoked

Ahhh ok thanks for that, iv also got a silver hatch but iv got red overlays, im taking off the road for a couple weeks to do some work so removing them and doing it will be a hell of a lot easier.

That place looks familiar, Kings Norton?

For a "proper job"
You also need one of these or the Pioneer equivalent for picking up the various signals

and a mounting plate for the GPS aerial to fit where it is supposed to go - in front of the dash instruments

You will also have lost the use of the sockets in the centre arm rest unless you get the pioneer replacement cable/later USB style socket

If you had said you were fitting a pioneer sat nav I would have suggested you got the pioneer cable for the steering wheel controls as it comes with the Pioneer output connector harness

Pioneer CA-R-SU199HAv2
or if MY11
Pioneer CA-R-SUB.299HA

The H0077AG021 (was 020) is available from Japan
However the connector it fits to can be found tucked up behind the fuse box by the drivers right knee (If it hasn't been used it will be tapped up with pink tape).

The rest of the article - most of this is translated from Japanese

Once you have found the "op connector" the outputs available at the plug are.......
