Quite possibly been approached before so sorry in advance.
I can't help but notice my air intake scoop wobble now it's been pointed out to me.
I'm thinking it's missing some retaining clips. Has anyone experience on this or any links to the parts I may require.
Thanks in advance.

As you may know I've recently had a 20th Anniversary hatch imported for me but I've now got a little dilemma, a friend of mine has just imported a Yellow Spec C hatch similar mileage but it's an 09 mines an 08 and he's asked if I'd like to swap! What's your opinions lads? The lad in question is not on Scoobynet so what would you choose? To me it's like asking which is my favourite child, I haven't driven the Spec C but I'm at one with my car but I suppose the Spec C would drive the same. What do you think ?
Seriously?
Spec C every time!!!!! Go drive it!!!!
Unless.......
Yours is a great car but it's no spec C.
It's not like the old days when you'd be comparing a spec C and maybe an A line (Hawk) or Spec C blob and UK Sti.
Wait until you drive the Spec C. The main difference you see initially is the steering which is so much quicker and more responsive. I think the car itself is quicker but i've only test drove a 20th.
When i started looking at importing there was about 5K difference between the two models so it's a total no brainer for me.

I need to drive it me thinks it's also a bit strange why he wants to swap as he's only had it 5 minutes but he hates the colour apparently but I love yellow cars. He changes his mind like the weather.
Checked what he paid and he paid 144000 yen more than me for his car. His seats are not as nice as mine but they are after all only seats.

If so, the spec-C bonnet is aluminium and will flex a bit more than a steel one.
My c/f bonnet wobbles a bit.

Surely you are winding me up that I am not the sole yellow spec c hatch owner in the country ??? They are obviously a bit common !Seriously, Darren, your car looks fantastic, and it`s fairly unique itself; I am just guessing, as I have no experience at all in either car yet, that you would find that the 20th was the test bed for the spec c suspension, so the main difference would be found in the C`s weight, turbo and tmic spray.
I know how your mate feels; I am waiting for mine with big reservations about the colour, so I am going to jump in and say stick to you !
Also, thanks for ruining my day
• The required amount of brake fluid is approximately 500 mL (16.9 US fl oz, 17.6 Imp fl oz) for the entire brake system.

how many Spec C's in the UK?
how many 20th Anniversary in the country?
I'd keep with the limited edition.
Are you track daying your car?
performance is nothing in it, so why swap?
Any ideas what Subaru would have put in it at the last change?
Looking for a cheap set of tyres to get me by for a couple of weeks or so till I buy new wheel package.
Had hoped the current tyres would have lasted a wee bit longer but as car is used daily to transport kids I would rather know I had some grip under the car
Cheers

Probably a litre to give you some margin if swapping "like for like".
Official recommendation is FMVSS No. 116, DOT3, or DOT4
Probably DOT4
You can upgrade to DOT 5.1 with no problems.

Already had a look, was more wondering if anyone had had any dealings with the cheap and nasty end of the market.
Just a shame the new wheels are bigger in size really

Phill. Been there and done it. Solely because i've bought used wheels that came with tyres.
One set came with Maxis and the second set came with Khumo (I think KU39) - I was really impressed with there capability in both wet and dry. Please don't get me wrong as i'd still choose a premium brand at twice the price but if you're broke or for some other reason id fully recommend the above two at about £50 a corner.

Had toyed with the idea of buying winter tyres and using them for the time being then they are ready to go come November.
