Hi guys,
A few of the led's on my rear 3rd brake light, on my 330S have failed. Looks like a block of 4 bulbs, second from the left.
After googling, I'm having trouble finding a replacement light.
I spoke to the dealer and they said it's a full new spoiler as the light doesn't come sepeartely! Surely not?
It's a 58 plate 330S hatch. Anyone know the part number or where to source a replacement?

Thanks.

Now its been a while since I had a hatch and maybe a bit of a longshot but I recall that on my old Hawkeye the clear brake light in the standard low level WRX spoiler was the same as that in the high level STI spoiler, now you can buy a OE used WRX spoiler on ebay for about a tenner, I wonder if Subaru carried on using the same light through to the hatch?

As said longshot but maybe worth a try.

If it's anything like the earlier cars mate you can split the lamp unit with a bit of heat and the strip inside breaks up you just re solder the track on which the led's sit and it should fix it.

Its worth a try if nothing else, the earlier wrx ones dont fit, tried it myself

Nice car, choice upgrades. Those APs are so much better than stock.

I am after one of those DAMD steering wheels myself to be fitted with the quick rack and bushing kit. Expensive owning one of these cars, modding is so much a part of STi ownership that has to be factored into the maintenance budget

Just picked up my Decat and going to see andy for mapping next month, do i fit the decat the day b4 and drive up at 50mph off boost in I mode, or find a local garage up there, go up early and get them to fit it? Would it be safe to drive up?

You can see the ones I made up here, although when the Pro-R springs went on, I had to remove the stop blocks to clear the lip spoiler....

Looks good Don, I'll see if the joiner at work can knock up a couple ... I think I'll go for 4 or 5 boards each overlapping 2 feet, with 1.5 / 2 inch rise each .. long boards but low, slow rise and safe!

Here's what I was doing last night:

Removed (my car's original PPP exhaust [that I de-resonated])...

And I couldn't be happier with it. The quality of construction and materials is great! The flanges are the cast, finned type - the Blitz NUR Spec R that I bought for the old Blobeye WRX I used to have didn't even have those - they were just cut plates! It came with removeable silencer bung that I dare say I may need on long journeys as this thing is simply nothing short of brutal!

A big thanks to Chris at tarmacsportz for importing this from Invidia for me!

Sorry Neil, did think you were looking for something to get you started on ramps. I use some bits of wood which do the same job as the ramp extenders to get me started but I don't have lower springs.
If it's just to get more ground clearance then I have these

I also have a racing trolly jack that came from Costco and that gets under without issue.
Paul.

No worries Paul, I tried the extensions, they were too short, hey ho! I didn't ask them how long they were!

Should have some low rising wooden ramps by tomorrow.

It was just to get some height to get under the front, how ever achieved!

How much tread is left in the tyres and what is the overall condition of the wheels ?

I'd say around £600 for the set perhaps
