Ah so the prodrive system removes the cat then? Not the aftermarket down pipe? So in that case in an MOT i should get away with saying that the exhaust was a factory fit PPP?

I have another question! (Full of them this weekend

I've just bought a Pioneer sat nav system from a member on here. I'm looking at a fascia adapter and I'm stuck between two.

One just fills the void in the existing hole in the dash:

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/con-...or-subaru.html

And one replaces the whole surround:

http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/con-...u-impreza.html

With the second one - can you still install the bits of silver trim down the sides? I prefer the whole fascia change rather than just filling the gap up with a thick plastic trim

and it also means i now just need the one decat pipe, eg, the front down pipe section

The second comes with the silver parts also, they are just cropped out if the pic.

I have had that one but sold on as not happy with the quality, it's ok for sub £20 but no where an oe fit.

Guys - can you advise me of a good place to buy Hatch Sti car mats from pse? Price not an issue as I'd rather pay for right decent one's than any cheap one's that would fall to pieces after a couple of months......

Thanks for any replies or links.

Yes radio surround from japanparts or avojdm.

Mats from Subaru, sometimes have them cheap on eBay, if not dealer.

Salsa that be appreciated mate.

Thanks Abx I'll see if Salsa has any joy initially although some of the ones on EBay can be hit or miss.

I see Scoobyparts do a set with Sti logo for £40 has anyone bought those ones?

Cheers

I've just ordered a Zunsport upper mesh grill to match my lower, how is it fitted, do you remove the existing, and do you re-locate the STi badge? Also got some red trim tape to fit with it.

Cheers chaps, happy easter

You take the grill apart and replace existing mesh.

Found it easier with the MY11 to take the bumper off for access as it's difficult to get to the small screws you need to remove to split the grill.

I've got the cheapo caraudiodirect one and for the cost (£15) I'm pleased with it. Here are some pics.

Agree with Don, I couldn't get to the clips So watched a 4 minute video on YouTube. Just search 2010 subaru impreza bumper removal. There's a few on there.

From memory its 4-6 pop out clips underneath. 3-4 clips on the top of the grill. Three pop out clips on each wheel arch. Then pull out the headlight washers and un-clip the plastic. Then ***** of steel time pop the bumper at each corner and it all comes away. Takes 15-20 minutes. Four screw at the lower part of the grill and it comes off

Might as well do the bonnet scoop to makes it look much nicer imo but i would say that

Pat did map at clinic not sure he does at the mo because he's had a bit if a prob with his ear. Paul balmire @ zen performance does mine and in my opinion is the best in the game but if further up north Andy forest is the 1st choice. Mark at thwaites development is supposed to be very good also ( midlands).

Thanks Steve had the bumper off already It's pretty easy! Was just wondering whether the grill was easy off seperate, thanks.

I ordered direct from Zunsport and have a 15% discount code that is valid if anyone else is thinking of ordering grills for the 08-10 cars.

P.S hate the scoop grill, sorry :P

Hi guys,

I have just bought my first impreza (Wr Blue Impreza WRX STI 2009) and was wondering what modifications you think i should go for first. Would suspension be the right way to go!? Its completely standard at the moment.

James.... if you don't post pix.. no one will EVER speak to you EVER again!!!! lol

only joking... WR blue is a rare colour in the UK on the hatch with it being an Import, so you're one of a select few with one

Modding.... look at Brakes, suspension (I quite like the look of the ProR 'Blue' Eibachs). Rob84 is the man you need to speak to on here to tell you what you can and don't want to look at doing

Is it at all possible to add bluetooth to my 330S nav unit? The dealer said it was pretty easy but I cant see how? The manual speakes of options that are not showing in the menu?
When I bought the car I was left under the impression I only had to add the mic kit.

Lastly, the side mount cargo nets, will either the 08-10 and 10-12 designs fit my 08 hatch? I'm sure I read agesago the fixings might not be suitable?
