Any ideas!

Hey guys. Finally got some proper photos. I used to be a car washing obsessive freak but my driveway and garage is away from my new house, so I don't have access to water and electricity at the garage, so I'm not doing the weekly religious washes anymore!

Previous car history includes MG ZRs (2 of them) MG ZS (3 of them) Vectra VXR, Clio Williams, Fiat Punto and Mazda 3 MPS.

Modifications to the STI so far are as follows:

Cobrasport catted down pipe
Prodrive cat back exhaust system (2nd hand ebay buy)
Slowboy Racing remap
Whiteline front and rear anti roll bars
Whiteline bushes for rear diff, gearbox and diff brace.
Rear tail light overlays
Titanium SI-Drive button cover
3/4 size front number plate
Super Pro engine pitch stop mount
LED sidelight bulbs
Aztec Performance fast road front brake pads

Future plans incude a front lip spoiler and rear diffuser.

Some pics from today's wash - pics dramatised with Snapseed

The purple ZS has a very interesting history to it for those interested.

This car was an MG Rover demo/test vehicle for a sprintex supercharger. Before MG went bust they were planning to bring out a final run of 'extreme' MG models, all fitted with some form of forced induction. The car needed a bonnet bulge for cooling and to allow room for the supercharger. Designs for the bonnet were drawn up in Australia and fabricated in the UK, and the car was kept at Longbridge to test the supercharger.

When MG went bust they asked someone to remove the supercharger and the car was sold at the MG Sport and Racing auction. It had a few odd items fitted that were never produced or available on standard runs of MGs like headlight washers for example. Plus it was the only ZS saloon to be painted in the monogram colour. It was meant to be sold as a limited production run and was to be called the ZS-X using a supercharged version of the 2.5 v6 engine.

The ZR was to be fitted with a 1.8 turbo JUDD engine. The lime green demo vehicle for this only had cosmetic parts fitted and they stuck a JUDD sticker on a standard 1.8 engine for photo purposes.

I think I've a couple of sets spare, I bought a load and put them in all our cars and vans.. plus give me spares if any failed. More likely if one goes dim it's worked loose and needs re fitting.

the good photo helps, but so much better/brighter than the normal 501 bulbs as you can see from the comparison photo

It does as had that on my MY08 STI, you'll need a deres centre pipe though to really release the burble, and funnily enough I have a section for sale you can replace the resonator with if you like.
