got them from here... http://www.neoquip.com/shop/led_lighting/index.html

you just need to add extra wire to them if you need to, 12v and run off the + & - every so easy. You can link them end to end to get the length you want, I think 4 linked together is long enough for the boot/roof area. Might also use them for the doors too, as tey have sticky back and are quite flat when stick. Being the 5050SMD these are so much brighter than the ones I've used before.

Question Kenwood DNX

Hi all, anyone else fitted one of these double din sat nav units to a hatch? Wondering what else apart from the unit is required? Thinking probably a facia kit for perfect fit, steering wheel control adaptor & possibly an autoleads wiring adaptor. Owt else?

No, that's all. Either facia adaptor to fill the gaps to the trim or better still the JDM trim which is double din size. Then an autoleads wiring adaptor and steering wheel control lead. I went with a kenwood and has been serving me well...

Tony.
Looks sweet. Is there any 'best' way of getting the trim off without marking it?

Mine comes off easily, if you don't bite your nails too badly just get them under one of the top corners and pull. I've seen some 'How Tos' showing taking all the silver trim off from the passenger side above the glovebox, no need for that at all.

Mine was quite loose half way down the silver strip, as above, finger nails on outer edge of silver strip, pull hard and be brave!

Wife just called to say she has been stopped by the police....speeding...no!....dangerous driving....nope!

....Tint on the front windows too dark!!

To my knowledge factory (aka IM) supplied on the 330S is legal so will promptly ignore until the police have the necessary equipment to test!

Guys

Hatch forum is very quiet
Trying to decide on whether to fit exhaust finishers.
Search on this thread hasn't helped, so do any of you guys have a decent picture of fitted exhaust finishers on preferably a dark grey STI, or black for that matter.

Cheers

i got stopped last yr with mine previous owner had them done rear doors & back window ok but fronts where not they checked them on spot & told to get them removed, i took it to window tinting place they checked & said yes illegal & should b removed & they dont tint front windows anymore ,

the std front windows tint is on legal limit or just below

if i remember rightley any thing more than 30% is illegal on fronts its a on the spot fine & can b 3points per window & some make u remove them there & then ,

ive heard off brother in law that its going to b part of mot if over limit its a failure ,

your car will b marked for 6months if uve been stopped for windows & not removed then again looking at points & fine

ok guys question

with the front fog kit fitted to the hatch, when the fog light switch on the stalk is turned to operate the fogs, mine clicks into place for the front fogs and i get a light on the dial cluster

but when i turn the stalk further for the rear fog,it doesnt click into place,it sort of just flicks if you know what i mean, nor does it give a light on the dials for the rear fog

has my kit been installed properly

oh sorry also, does anyone know which slot the relay should be in next to the fuse box for the fog kit ?

marcus

I'm sure it's one turn for the front fogs, then a further turn for the rear fog. have you looked in your instruction booklet?

just looked in the hnd book.. page 3/44 or near there.
Front fof +rears need dipped/head lights to be on..... yep we know that already.
turn front fog switch to turn on (it holds in place)
turn it again to put the REAR fog light on (this doesn't hold in place and returns tothe front fog light possition)
