yes but on the filp side it gives u the option to refit the spioler if u want to and not have to drill the holes again . some people are very 50/50 when it comes to spoilers . it looks cool off for 2 weeks then they wanna put it back on , so tape is ok imo i left mine open on my old car . holey moley

is there any smaller spoilers available? (meant smaller than that Mines one)
might look for just different brand and start measuring.....

i was thinkin of maybe trying to build into the lid. sort of how a vectra has it:

Here are some pictures of my V5 STi at Abingdon a few weeks ago. I had the spoiler removed and holes filled by RS Bodyworx in Poole - Andy did a very nice job and also did a deal over the spoiler - which he put straight onto his own car!

Please don't shoot me down folks - I do apologise if this has been answered before but...
I have a 2004 wrblue blobeye that at the mo has the great big STi type rear spoiler (recently fitted by previous owner) in place of the factory low-level item, using no extra bolts (as I cringe and close the boot very carefully!). What will be the best, most cost-effect way of me going wingless?
