Cheap Suit, help appreciated
Andy at your ADF interview they will offer you the choice of some shops such as Burtons, Asda (and a few others that have contracts with the j/c) for you to choose where to go get your suit.
Dont forget to ask for shoes and travelling expenses for attending the ADF appointment outside of your normal signing day and you also need travelling expenses to get to the shops and also the interview.
They will give you a copy of a form and you take that to the shop and exchange it for what you need. Explain that if successful at the interview you will be awarded the apprenticeship and will be able to sign off.

And don't worry about cheap and shiny. I wear suits all the time and both mine were under £100 (one from TK Maxx has done very well). You know what you are buying with them but it'll be fine for a few interviews. I've had my ones a couple of years now!

Ah, I wondered how they did it. I didn't know if it would be some sort of giro payment, or one into your bank account. Certainly not asking for the world, and I'm not fussed about petrol, shoes and other tit bits. I'd like a nice looking jacket and smart trousers. I've already mentioned that if I pass this interview I will be offered a place on the apprenticeship scheme, on the grand sum of £117 a week

(For the record also, I've recently been the busiest unemployed bum you'll ever meet)...
