I prefer an older generation of friends, mainly because they have a better sense of humour to that of someone with an 18yr old brain.

 

Most of my mates are pretty much the same age as me (29), however I am happy having a beer with an 18 year old or a 70 year old. I dont mind. Age for me isnt an issue its the personality of the person I'm with that counts.

With regards to the opposite sex, recently I was in a bar talking to a 40 year old woman - she was really interesting but this wasnt going to go anywhere. Later the same night I was trying to have a conversation with an 18 year old - it wasnt easy. Although more pleasing to the eye, it was like having a conversation with a tin of baked beans.

I tend to meet women older than me most of the time because I look a bit older than my age...recently a receptionist asked me if I was older than my sister - shes 42..

Still 30 next year!
