When I was younger, physical appearance used to be the main key (which is only natural) but as you mature, you realise that looks, age etc are not important and in fact what they say is just as fun......

I agree with all of that, easier to quote it than to type it all over again.

When you are younger, then people of your own age group tend to think along the same lines and therefore can appear to be more interesting company.

What really matters is the attitude and the outlook on life of the other person. Age should not need to be so important. It is often very revealing to talk to an older person because age and experience count for a lot and you can learn a great deal by doing a bit of listening. Sometimes you have to be a bit patient but the knowledge is all there and it is valuable stuff.

Age doesn't bother me one bit, they are just numbers. My current girlfriend is 3 years older than me but would pass for at least 3 younger than what she is. My previous girlfriend was 6 years younger and thought she knew the world in the end she prooved to be very imature, among other things. In the past I've been with girls 10 years younger and 14 years older, I think looks are important but personality is equily important in a relationship it's finding a happy medium with the two....... And big norks

Friends ages are not important to me. you're friend for a reason, not because of how old they are.

Partners are different. I'm 35 (Today) and I go for 18-21 year olds. Everything if perter, firmer, and tighter. Plus they're more eager to please.

I wish.

OK, 18-21 is more a wish than reality, but I do prefer Partners younger than me. Current G/Friend is 5 years younger.

Friends ages aren't important. Partners ages, well, not really so if I found them attractive and had the opporutunity I probably would. I work opposite a ladies dress shop and the owner (say early 40s maybe) and daughter (Late teens) work there, frankly either would fit the bill

Only thing about dating an older women is that she may have all the bits in the right places now but in years to come she might start sagging/falling apart whilst you are starting to get ur good looking mature man thing on!

Just look at Guy Ritchie and Madonna. When they started i woulda tapped that too but now look at her, pure boke material

Age insofar as age difference is only a problem if you let it be a problem.

Perish the thought. Your birthday greeting was far nicer than mine. I said to Swiss "Happy birthday you old skankpot"

I don't generally agree with a lot you say Les, but the above I do. Currently my mates ages range from about 16-17 to 56, not including any family either.

Good example being a nice chap off here who's recently helped me a lot sort some issues round my house out. Older than my mother but boy do we have a good laugh about stuff.

Then there was today. Just come back from a team building assessment for the apprenticeship I'm applying for. Mainly School and College leavers, so about 16-18. Some were chavvy as you'd expect, but a couple of the lads I really got on with, and they didn't give 2 hoots I was 7, 8, 9 years older than them. Had a good laugh and was suprised at the wisdom and knowledge available from a young age.

As for physical appearence, I'm not into old birds. Anything over about 35 seems to have early signs of wrinkles or crows feet around their eyes. It really puts me off even though it will happen to me one day. So for sexy time (if I was single), I'd look for something in my age region (18-30 funnily enough), but mates, not bothered to be fair. As long as they're good people and not bitchy or decieving, I'm easy.

Age isn't as important to me as someone's ability to make me laugh. If they're wrinkly, grey, balding and a bit portly then even better

Shut your face, you old perv

Sal, yeah, I like them older. Something well sexy about a bloke over 40 Plus they usually have some good conversation, too.
Saying that, some youngsters look near forty Depends on the severity of the paper round they had

Really, I cast you back to a certain pair of ladies you upset recently. They were young, I recall Joking, 5 years is nothing. You don't come across as ageist, anyway

Oh, and Happy Birthday.
