No worries. Yeah I'd be interested to see them! I'm thinking of trying to change one myself.

lol Yeah, it really didn't match with what I'd heard from the other bearings and hub going but apparently it was ultra-shagged, lol, but they had to have a good dig around in there with to actually figure it was the hub though.
Cost me £375 all in, dunno if that's good or bad but it could have been a lot worse I guess.

Anyway, couldn't get any pics as they were well busy and had already turfed them, sorry about that psigeek!
Car drives fine now that the hub and wheel bearing have been replaced though

Hope you don't have too much aggro with yours dunx!! Whatever it turns out to be

p.s. sorry if it takes me a while to respond if you reply, we're not allowed to be on sn much anymore

Ah no worries,
cheers for the update.

If they've sourced all the parts for you too I guess it isn't too bad. Mind has stopped making any noise whatsoever now! I think I'm going to have the bearings changed at least as a precaution though!

Yep, the price was all in with them sourcing the parts etc. (one of the lads down there has an RA so they knew where to get the bits, fortunately)

That's bizarrre that the noise has gone now for you too the fella who had a loook at my hub/bearings had to take the driveshaft out to feel what had properly gone apparently, whatever that entails.
As I was saying earlier, mine was properly intermittant as well, defo have a look see at those bearings on a ramp if ya can
Good luck for it!

Tom
