Mark, PM a guy on here called Dspeed. He is making the brackets for people.

Cant honestly remember where i purchased my extinguishers but any 1kg or larger powder will be fine. Halfods should be able to sell you one

I ended up getting the 0.8L size from Halfrauds for IIRC £12.99 special offer price, the 1.0L was big in size difference compared this this one.

Thanks for the inspiration Frayz and thanks to Rob for the bracket

Don't forget a couple of large washers behind the bracket to keep it straight and true.

Had a little fiddle about with this this morning.

Just a dummy run so i can get everything sitting right, cut the relevant areas etc, get the spare bumper cut and then get it all painted.

To say this thing is rather large is a little understatement and it looks like it will take 10bar lol

Sorry for the fone pics, but thought the weather was too nice not to take a few.

Its staying silver mate, black coolers look good on non black cars.

If theyre on a black car they look manky very quickly and when they get stonechipped you end up with silver spots all over them.

The silver will look better for longer.

Got the cooler bolted up how i wanted it tonight and made a start on the bumper cutting. £ hours was spent on the bumper to get it to this stage. Im not 100% happy with it, although i dont think i ever will be but i guess thats the joys of having a massive cooler.

The bumper is just rested on the front of the car with only 2 clips in it so please excuse the poor fitting, its just to give you an idea.

Once im happy it will go for paint.

Has it silicon pipework opposed to ally like the classic version mount ?
I agree with leaving it silver for another reason..... you have to show it off

Cheers guys,

Si mine is the one with the polished stainless pipework. Its all hardpiped with silicone joiners.

Hopefully getting my bumper in the paintshop next week so i need to get a wiggle on and get it fitted properly. Its 99% there TBH but i want it to fit as perfect as possible.

Because my bumper in a Prodrive version none of the templates fit so all my cutting is just from scratch. I cant belive how much bumper i have had to sand away from the rear in order to create enough clearance.

The bumper im left with is literally just a skin that covers the cooler. lol
