Well guys, the Bomber lives.
Big thanks to Simon (JGM) for his time this morning. Shes now equiped with a Syvecs S6 and with a few little issues sorted fired up pretty good.
Our only casualty at present is a dead alternator which is obviously stopping us setting up her base map as the car is just dragging power from the battery. Hopefully a new alternator and we should be good to go.
Engine sounds really nice and is particularly quiet, fuel and oil pressure good too. Its not over till the fat lady sings, but i can sure say that its a huge weight off my mind to hear her running and feels a bit overwhelming to finally be here after 3 years.

Ah, just watched the vid. I see you took the whole filter off rather than remove the bag from the filter? Was that less traumatic for you Frayz?
Cracking job by the way, sounds great. Really top stuff.!

Little niggles Olly, miswired map sensor, a low battery and swapping the wiring on the fuel pump relay.
Since then we have discovered that the car isn't charging which is 99% sure is the alternator. I've also found a small oil leak which I think is the oil cooler sandwich plate. I'll check it out tomorrow.
I can honestly say that Ive tried my best to get it 100% but even then you still have teething issues.
Concidering she's sat for 3 years and has had the amount of reworks done, I don't think I've done too bad.
Yeah great to meet you too Simon, finally lol.
I really hope that between us we can get some good results and the cams etc don't limit us too much.

I had loads of issues with mine including breaking down on my way back from SRR after mapping. It was a 14hour recovery for a lose bloody earth!!
Looks like you've got off light;y Frayz which can only put down to how throrough you've been.
Pat yourself on the back mate, you're nearly there.
