My original question - Why so many rows?
I really have no idea, all I do know is that I'm a reasonable guy and I had posts over there deleted for no "valid" reason.
For example, I kindly offered a job vacancy in our company which was on for about half a day before it was deleted.
No reasons given etc etc.
That took the biscuit.
Having said that, I've sold some stuff on there too so all water under the bridge now.
The aliases - ah yes there are a few new names.
So, would the real slim shady please stand up, please stand up.

Maybe the Aliases are scared to speak their mind under their own names incase in the Luftwaffe come after them.

When i stuck the job offer on, the only advertiser was P.Subaru.

There were numerous rows for varying reasons.
Certain members blatently flaunted the stated rules and regs.
Within reason I, as a moderator, tried to tidy up things as people didnt constantly wish to sign in to read the biggest load of drivel about who a member was trying to get into the pants of.
This didnt go down well with certain other mods who were wishing to utilise the contacts from said member for their own benefits.
Personally i thought it was a site for enjoyment of the cars and some craic....comments like its not scooby related so cant be here anre ridiculous tbh.
One mod resigned due to assertion that were completely scurrelous by another mod and a rift developed.
Sides were taken from one side of a story and a resolution not seeked.
Some were hung out to dry. and as a result i was removed as a mod to appease basically a certain person.
IMOH all moderators on SI should have been removed and a fresh start occur. The current team is tainted and there is a very noticable lack of neutrality and depends who you are as to whether you get warned, banned etc. As stated one rule for one etc.....
Am sure this thread has been well debated in the mods section of SI as they are eyes everywhere......
I know of several persons who had come to me in disgust about occurances on SI and i was berated for dealing with things in an adult manner. How dare i warn the "special one" for inappropriate behaviour after there had been several major issues occurring due to the fact that religious, political or cultural issues dare not be spoken about.

Hi Paul,there was a thread on Scooby Ireland a few months(andymac you might remember it) ago about who decided on who the mods were and about paying a membership fee.There was a suggestion about voting annually for new mods but it was rejected along with the membership fee,it had the case for both sides,dont know if its still there if someone wants to have a look for it.Needless to say it was locked,but there was some good views posted.

Relax the rules for a start I suppose.
Have more a more uniformed approach - i.e. everyone do the same
Allow adults to have threads posted of their own choice instead of ***** footing about deleting stuff incase it might offend someone else.
For example, some people wanted to show their disgust at N.Ireland's recent shenanigans.
This is just an example, but no. The mods deemed it necessary that we are not infact adults at all, adn we will discuss things that only they deem appropriate.
Meets/events etc are also another area.
For instance a lot of the people I work with poked tremendous fun at my expence because of the organising of cars in attendence, i.e. Blue cars, then white, then red etc etc
A tad over the top is is not?
As I said, I don't post much on SI anyway and normally stay confined within scoobynet.
So, being an infrequent poster maybe makes my views irrelevent anyway?
An other thing is the alias accounts.
Fellas - get a grip FFS and stop behaving like a fecking child, its so obvious they are alias accounts for a scoobyireland user.
