Thanks for the positive comments guys.

Its always going to be one of those Marmite things, some love it , some hate it. The ones who tend to like it are those that are into the Timeattack/JTC look that is huge in Japan and has only just started to hit over hear.

Where as those who don't like it still like to stick with their traditional WRC wide look and arn't to into the jap racer scene.

Like me some like to be different and break the flow of things and try new looks and that isn't going to be to everyones liking, at the end of the day everyone has their own individual taste.

Some people still didn't like the way it looked before but one thing is for sure and thats if anyone else goes for the same kit as I have its because they want to be different. I love it!

Many years ago my parents said "can't you be just a normal kid, why do you have to be different" lol

Hmmm, got me thinking now! What front wings would work with the side sills that fit the bugeye?

I'd like a rear like that but not as wide for my bugeye.

Ricey

I am just waiting on some better weather and I will get some better pics together. Bit grim tup north.

If anyone wants to check out ABW's kit in the flesh then it will be at this years NBO on the 28th of this month.

Bit of an update.

As you can see the rotas have now gone and been replaced with a set of the Ultralite Atec II's in the 18x9.5" width and with a 35 offset. I could go a little wider if need be as the kit Daren from ABW made can house some seriously wide rubber. I wasn't to keen on the black rotas before because they seemed to dissapear into the arches and not stand out.....I like my bling.

I also wasn't very happy with the way the car sat so high to the rear when it was on its standard jap spec shocks and Tein S-Tech springs and the ride was a little bit to hard for our great british roads. So I went for a set of the BC coilovers and I have got to say that the ride quality has been greatly improved.

Its currently set at 8 clicks and it feels just right, alot smoother and grips the corners like its on rails which was something I was a little concerned about as I had gone for such wide wheels.

With lowering the car at the rear by about 15mm and the front by about 5mm (my splitters gonna last long.....not!) the car has a much better stance as you can see in the following pictures:

Hope you like.

Its the light I can assure you. Darens (ABW) work is one thing that can't be faulted.

I am still toying with the idea of changing the wheels again to a set of the Rota Grids in white (30 offset) but it will all depend on getting a good enough deal on a set.

Looks like its the wrong shade of white mate, you would have been better off painting the full sides IMO

You can't tell that from a naff picture taken from my phone and if you know what Darens work is like then you wouldn't be making that comment.

the kit is really growing on me, the more i see it the more i like it!!

especially everytime you make a little change, amazing the difference that a few mm makes to the stance!!!

i know you said that the splitter won't last long but i reckon you need a carbon lip up front
