and.....

But seriously, my point was imo the Arsenal youngsters under Arsene are playing how he wants them too. And how they play to the best of their ability. Stick another manager in and they will be nowhere near the top of the table. But with Utd's squad there is evidence and proven class all round (last 2 prem titles). I don't mean this as a windup or arrogance but it's true.

You may have your stadium paid off soon, but you still have a poor squad in comparison and a manager that believes far too much in average youngsters. Fergie may go out and spend £30mill on Rooney, but hes paid that back dividends. If I were to think genuinely which Arsenal squad players I would have in Utd's starting 11, Fabregas and Van Persie would be the only ones. Arseshaving and Sagna would get the bench.

Right, wheres my smack sandwich. (Fresh veins ) and that can of worms... as this is gonna go on and on and on.....

When he was demanding £52,000 a week and the car was about £30,000?

Now we have Wessy B on £52,000 a week

Oh well, while we keep winning EVERYTHING in sight, we can afford to pay the players handsomely. Not as if we've gone 4 years without winning anything is it?

Its not mate as im in agreement If we were to lose Wenger then Cesc would go for sure. The new manager would then come in with a big kitty and HAVE to buy someone to build around. While cesc is there i really think arsenal can achieve something soon.

We abuse the mancs for spending big but they only do it once/twice a season and buy players they need. I thought Carrick was a shocking buy but he has been immense this season. Rooney shirt sales alone have paid his fee.

Wenger is the only man to gel this team no questions but it shows how good he is. imagine what he could do if he thought "**** it, i think i'll spend £100mill this summer"

I think RVP is quality, he just does something special every game. look at the chelsea game

I'm glad you saw it in the way it was mean't to be posted, Dave. I was kinda praising Wenger for doing so well with the kids - but also commenting at the same time I think some are over-achieving due to Wengers skill. Does that make sense? Like if another manager came in, some of the youngsters would basically turn average, thus meaning the team would struggle. I know how I'm trying to put it anyways, but I'm monging from last nights 'needle-fest' with ash

PMSL genius

yeah i know mate. can you honestly see song or denilson in manc/chelski/pool team. no way
Thats what makes wenger though. I think any manager could walk into manchester and not have to to anything same as other 2 clubs as guus has showed at chelsea

Totally. As said, I hate Wenger for his attitude and the way his players "can" act on the pitch, but what he has got out of what I would consider an 'average' team certainly deserves credit. But the silly french **** hasn't the sense to spend what money there is and make it a formidable team again of 5 years ago. I think his policy of 'see the youngsters mature together and win everything' is slightly blinkered, and they do need quality experienced players in defence, midfield and maybe attack too.

I want him to stay and see out what he has started plus i want to see cesc stay but i also want to be the invincibles again.

I hate fergs attitude and how he thinks he runs the fa. wouldnt be footy without hating your rivals

Default Jeffers

He's been a Pro for 10 seasons now !!

And played just 170 games scoring 34 goals, only 22 games in 3 years at the ****, the guy makes Darren Anderton look good, bloody good in comparison.

But when you look at his England record you'd think it was a typo
U-21 16 games 13 goals, 1 full cap 1 goal.

Where did it all go wrong.

Another Donkey worth remembering Christopher Wreh, Monaco to Arsenal, 3 years and 28 games later, he's off to Saudi, Bournemouth, St Mirren, Tehran, Bishops Stortford, Buckingham Town and now in Indonesia bizzarre.

The one player I wish had adapted to the EPL and played to his ability, when in fact it destroyed him, at least we got £16m back from CFC

Going further back how about Poborski, one free kick does not make a player , nor does a surname, *cough* Cryuff *cough*

Dont worry we've bought plenty of crap too
