litchfield twin scroll turbo
Personally I wouldn't go any bigger than the LM450 for sprint use imo on the 2ltr.
If you want bang for buck (and great spool / driveability) just stick the LM400 on (with a remap of course) with everything else OEM.
LM450 needs other items to suit (FMIC, injectors, Induction Kit etc etc)

Ilya,
Who is telling you 2ron will make 1000-1500rpm spool difference? I think they need to stop drinking it and start putting it in their tanks!
With regards to fuels, I'm not sure you can come up with general conclusions that the better the fuel the quicker the spool. You may actually find the opposite!

The difference from 95 to V-Power might credibly be 100 to 150 RPM in spool to 1 bar.
Are you sure someone does not have the shakes on the keyboard accounting for an extra 0? Sounds like too much Vodka.

my engine is stock 2.0 JDM 06 spec C Ra
fujitsubo exh man + decat Milltek
air filter
and my billet LM400 spools to 1 bar at 4000rpm in fourth
the strange thing is that my original vf36 spoools as it is supposed to
so atm I am open to any suggestions, even the ones I shared few posts back

Will second that - I used lateral/tomei/kakomoto type headers on my 2.5 twinscroll build at first, thinking they would be better. Bad move as they completely killed spool. Refitted OEM twinscroll headers and all was good again.
Time for another update and time for more LM power related goodness please.

Bit of a revisit to this thread but has anyone had their LM turbo sent back for upgrading say from a LM400 billet to a LM450 billet?
I have fired off various emails to Litchfield Imports and never got an answer, called them and no return calls.
I'd really like to get a costing on this as my car is off the road for a while and will be having the Simtek/Alcatek upgrade plus a Toucan and sensors fitted, so now would be the ideal time for get it all done together.

£195 + delivery + vat.
Just had an LM450 upgraded, it cost £316 Including vat, delivery and a repair to the actuator.
You're also better of dealing with Turbo Dynamics directly. I did and they were very helpful.

They are going to ring me back with a price.

Hey everyone,
I am an avid Twin Scroll Fan and had the chance to own several Twin Scroll Turbos.
I read the first couple of pages and saw that there was a discussion about:
Twin SCROLL vs Twin ENTRY
Kindly allow me to clear everything up.
Based on my findings, the HKS 2835 Twin "Scroll" Turbo is actually Twin ENTRY.
The HKS Exhaust housing does not have the same dividing scrolls from your VF Twin Scroll Turbos.
Pics below will explain everything.
Comparison is between HKS 2835 Twin "Scroll" and VF53 Twin Scroll Turbo.
Notice in the last pic, where my finger is able to go through the 2 ports of the HKS Twin "Scroll" Turbo.
Hence, it is evident that the HKS turbo is Twin ENTRY.
That being said, I have not seen any conclusive evidence of the Litchfield LM400/420/450 Twin "Scroll" Unit.
Would anyone like to share if the Litchfield Unit is a True Twin Scroll or Twin ENTRY?
Cliff notes: HKS Twin "Scroll" Turbo is actually Twin ENTRY as it does not have the dividing scrolls like the VF36/37/49/53 Twin Scroll Turbo.
