What to wear for an Interview ..
#38
For those interested .. and I would think everyone
The job was already given to the lad on secondment, (as expected). They called me 3 days before they said they would and said I blew everyone out the water (must have been a really bad turn out ) and I came one point behind the lad who got it .. which my manager (who already knew about it) said is standard BS when you kick the **** of someone who unofficially has been promised the job ..
They then said what we can do is pay your current employer to release you on loan until April when a new role has been created and its yours !
**** ME ... how awesome is that !!
Now it comes down to the red tape of being part of a contractor working for a recruitment agency working for the client .. worse case I wait a few weeks and then just leave !

Well done, Pimmo
I tried reading previous posts, but not sure what you wore to the interview. I gathered you wore something sexy LOL Obviously, it wasn't just your tidy look with tidy cladding, but also your other personal qualities (in relevance to the job) you demonstrated to them, what they have gone for. Congratulations, again.

I wore a shirt and tie and a black coat.
I would like to think it went toward getting me the job, I think appearance in an interview is a large part of it.
After him telling me I didn't need to dress up and then me still bothering hopefully showed I took the interview seriously.
I did my best and apparently on this occasion it was good enough
