I love it, going a bit stale in single player now as I've done 200 hours and am just chasing down the last multiplayer challenges to get to 102% but online is a crack especially if you know the people you're on with and mix it up with challenges, violence and races. 8 player online marked man when everyone starts close together is brilliant.

Couple of people in my list have over 1500 hours, I don't see me getting to that but I still jump on most weekends for a couple of hours online.

I'll be getting the island pack and cops & robbers as well. I paid fifteen odd quid for the game off ebay so it owes me nothing and the entertainment I've had, it's certainly worth every penny and probably considerably more.

 

Motorstorm Pacific Rift isn't a bad game (better online) Ian S and try Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli too that is quite good.Some racing games will be released soon namely Supercar Challenge and others.

Midnight Club LA is another game I hate, but I've only played around 2 hours of it and can't bring myself to go back to it - even though a few people have told me the first few hours are terrible but gets a lot better when you earn some decent cars.

It's just the car parts from GTA4 as far as I can tell...

 

DOH i just remembered GTI Club that's an arcade game if Ian doesn't know.Also Outrun will be out on the PS3 too this year.What about Wipeout HD who would recommend that game ?.

 

I wouldn't. I made the mistake of buying it and have regretted it ever since. No improvements (other than graphically) over the original PS1 game, and it very quickly gets boring. Feels soulless

 

There's a playable demo you can download from the online shop of wipeout, only played it a couple of times as said nothing special.

 

GTi Club is dull, it's a faithful arcade recreation but without the handbrake on the cabinet and the smell of cheap hot dogs and BO.

 

what about that ferrari game? i had a quick blast round at a mates and it seemed like it had potential... sorry i forget the name of it.
I'm just waiting on Gran turismo 5 before i get a PS3. Just would like them to shake things up a bit as it has barley changed in 10 years!! Changable weather, open roads, the ability to personalise your cars more asthetically and MAYBE a damage modle/reliability model. They would be on the top of my list as although i love the series, they are a bit sterile.

 

Could be in for a long wait
