Many thanks to Steve for showing us some cracking roads and a warm welcome.

I really enjoyed the twin lakes road which was like a short rally stage in itself, the evo triangle was a bit hair raising in sections but just as enjoyable. And even better there were no Police, speed camera vans or GATSO's either and I thought North Wales was crawling with all of them, not that we exceeded the speed limits at any time.

It was good to meet Richy B and the other members of MWS and thanks for showing me the best way to get back.

I forgot my camera so I am hoping that Rich (rsedwards) can post some pics up. If anyone get the chance to drive on either of these two roads then take it you will not be disappointed.

Great to meet you and glad you got back home safe!

We all got back safe and had a nice sensible drive home (well most of the way, LOL)!

Gald I made the trip up, nice roads and friendly people. I'll try and get some pics up by the end of the weekend, and the vid should on youtube by the end of the week.

Cheers, Rich.

Thanks again to all that turned up (nice to put some faces to usernames) it was such a shame the meet was'nt as intended but i think we had a good time.

next time i will come up with a more challenging route and i will servey the roads beforehand (well it would be rude not to)

cheers

steve

BTW i have to wait a week for the youtube vid!!!

Even though it is a far old jaunt (I will book into a hotel next time), I would be interested in another meet to see some more of north Wales's best roads although they would have to be pretty special to beat the twin lakes and evo triangles.

Sorry Richy forgot to ask can Jay (I think) post up the photographs of the action shots?

I just wanted to see how terrified I looked giving it some beans down the twin lakes road.

Also forgot to compliment the MWS on their cars - your 22B is fantastic and I hope to own one someday , Andy's hatchback was menacing in black, Jay's P1 is a credit to him and CristalTips's spec D has got to be the ultimate hawkeye (for me anyway).

I'm glad everyone's number plate is blanked (apart from mine!)

I uploaded the vid to youtube but is was too long (you're only allowed 10mins) So I will edit it tonight, I also need to cut out Steve's number plate.

I'll also get some pic's sorted once I have resized them.

No worries, I thought you had simply forgotten anout me!

I have cut a chunk out of the vid to bring it down to 10mins, some of the footage was poor because of the rain and low sun. By the time youtube finished compressing it you couldn't see much. The final copy is rendering now.

Pics will be up shortly.

Cheers, Rich.

I don't know who the driver of the silver car was but he seemed to be slowing up progress and as for his unnatural interest in sheep, draw your own conclusions on that one...

Thanks for the comments

I like the camera stuck on the outside as it give a different perspective. If we were going to do a few runs (and the battery lasted ) then I would have moved it to different points on the car. Next purchase is an incar charger for the camcorder.

Aren't there more (action) photos due to be posted?
