I'm played Race:Evolution on the PC. Been a fan of the Simbin games since the first GTR but there is definately a case of them seeming to rest on the lorrels (sp?).
I'm surprised the audio isn't up to much as this is one of the best things about the PC games.

The awful thing is the engine sound effects. The mini sounded like it was from the TOCA game on the PS1 yet in the viper it did sound much better.
Handling I had to turn the steering response right up as the DB9 just would not turn at all and you had to almost crawl along to go round a corner.
Not convinced yet and did all the tryouts up to D class to see how later cars in the game handled but at the moment I can't recommend the game as a good one

went back to the local games shop yesterday night to try and pick up a copy and trade in streetfighter 4, and the lad behind the counter told me they have sold out again ?
so either its selling more then i thought, or they are not getting many copies in?

OK, here's my take of it after a quick blast on a mates console...
yes, driving the mini round brands was ahoot, but it did leave me feeling a sense of just pointing the car round, with no real feel for the track.
had a blast in a single seater on pro mode and the minute the back stepped out, i was in a spin, with no warning or the ability to feather the controls.
left me wanting in a game somewhat, and I wont be hanging up my forza2 just yet.
each to their own though...
and remember "FORZA2 IS HUGE" gameplay / tuning / cars / tracks / and the ablity to write that your mate is a ****er across the back of your car!!!
ill wait for forza v3 if thay can better v2 !!!
