lol this thread is funny either way..

i never ate at subway until a mate told me it was halal so we went to the bradford one in girlington.. lol wasted £10 or so pound, on something which just tickled our stomach and wasnt really fulfilling, then went up the road to UKFC to get a chicken burger and chips for the half the price altogether!

never been again! and wouldnt recommend it, overpriced it and portions were ****..

i just thought id try it like i did with everything else when i went to saudi arabia.. halal mcdonalds, pizza hut.. and omg! zinger (extreme) burger meal from KFC lol! thats got to be the next place to go halal :P lol does that mean when it does, they'll be abother thread up here?

lol we also need a wimpy o and a burger king.. i had a field day. when i wwas there for 6 weeks lol i tried everything i wasnt allowed to eat over here god it hurts going past the places and your tummys talking lol

nah.. lol it was a place that had a similar logo to wimpys but did mahoosive burgers you just couldnt finish!

one was packed with turkey! another packed with chicken and then donner on top..

they were just delicious lol i loved the chilli chicken burger from it..i honestly cant rememebr the name of the place.. i can picture it in my head exactly where it is, just cant picture the name lol i can even picture the menu lol

it was on first floor in bin dawood centre in makkah in the corner.. lol i rememebr coz i was walking around with a £12 ice cream from baskin and robbins and thought god i want one of those burgers lol

Every Animal has parasites, every animal get diseases, they all have strange poo related regimes it seems bizarre to differentiate, it is based on actual filth and its risk it based on religion, plenty of people eat Pork and dont die of horrible Pork related diseases, I suspect more people who avoid Pork on religious grounds die from other meats than Pork eaters do from Pork.

Whoa! I've just come across this thread...not had a chance to read all 11 pages but from what I have read I'm disgusted at the lack of respect for others on this site.

No it wouldn't be easier if muslims just ate pork! Would you expect a vegetarian to eat meat?!?!? NO!

According to the Hindu religion we cant eat beef...so would you then tell hindus that it would just be easier if they ate it?! NO!

What I cant understand is that we live in a multicultral society and we all have different beliefs according to an individuals religion. In my opinion, that should be respected whether you are muslim, hindu or anything else...

Should I expect the next thread to be about Jews and kosher meat or do you guys want to learn some respect?!

It should also be noted Islam is not the only religion to prohbit Pork.

It's prohibited in judaism as well as in islam. In judaism the prohibition comes from the book of leviticus.

In this book there are laws regarding and hygiene, from incest, to how to dispose from a dead person or animal, to menstruation, or after giving birth.

Regarding pork, you are what you eat, and pigs were the filthiest animals. the human body is seen as sacred and it was prohibited to eat an animal so unholy that eats his own feces.

Not only are it's eating habits filthy, it also harbours many many parasites which are very harmful to the human body.
These include trichinosis, cysticercosis, and brucellosis. Very commonly, pigs are also known to host large concentrations of parasitic ascarid worms in their digestive tract.

The point being, Islam prohbits ANYTHING which can be harmful to the human body.

Why does this issue get everyone's back up?

Healthy eating habits should now be discriminated against? So why not start a thread saying "VEGAN FRIENDLY SUBWAY"??
