I dont have the screenshots for my bans, but one was for circumventing the swear filter.....****er I upset Simon for some reason

The other one was done by our old friend and complete ****...whoops sorry misguided fool and local rip off merchant 404BHP who infracted me in Fight Club of all places

Ah those were the days
*goes all misty eyed and remembers when this was all fields and the forum was all in sepia *

Davyboy, for you that was a sub-standard post and won't be tolerated.

His running of the site has no bearing on his personality. As for making a fair wedge from selling the site, well, factor in the time and effort he put in over the years for little or no return, and the sites final value, and he'd have been better off on benefits over the same period if he hadn't had a day job too.

I was banned for 3 months for this

https://www.scoobynet.com/non-scooby...-oblivion.html

Apparently "the community had spoken" but during the mix around when infractors were revealed, The "community" consisted of ex webby blowing me to bits with infractions

Fact is it takes a special kind of no nothing, always in the wrong w***** to make the kind of cash I did. I spent years perfecting the skills of becoming joint tosspot on a well known website. Looks like it paid off in the end!

As Piers Morgan asked a certain individual in last weeks insight about Monte Carlo.....

Q."What do you think about the credit crunch?"
A."What credit crunch!!"

It still makes me laugh now that certain individuals thought "him" and "him" knew nothing. Knowing nothing is only the first step on the ladder of success. Not until you reach the point of knowing F all, do you appreciate you have made it in life.

evening all!

DCI, I'd "make it" with you any day!

-

I'll be honest, I really enjoyed the banter and run-ins with most people, as regardless of how I often came across I have a lot of respect for most of the people I had a run in with - there are of course the odd "you'd cross the road to avoid", "freak of nature", twisted up, dribbling idiots that I just cringed when having to deal with.. but I guess these losers appear in all walks of life. The downside of running scoobynet, is that regardless of when you see someone say something you whole-heartedly agree with, if you believe, to the best of your knowledge and judgement (as flawed as everyone's is) that the community would be damaged by that post being there, you have to deal with it and you have to act as though you believe it through and through.

People such as DCI are happy to poke fun / attack ANYONE he considers deserving of it - and stand up for ANYONE he considers deserving of it. Hat's off to that I say. And that's why I was always happy to take the time for the odd debate with DCI, as I didn't feel I was conversing with someone of miniscule intellect (and *****, probably) who is just so twisted and insecure that they just want to attack the establishment, because they know they'll get instant support from the ScoobyNet-Activists who all need vindication for the crimes against humanity of their post about **** sex being deleted 3 years ago!

Oh the financial bleating has changed now then? A bit like your ability to arsé lick your only 'friend' and attempt to recruit friends now you're no more than ScoobyNet user?

Bring back the condescending fool before we have to all buy a fecking violin.

Did anyone notice "corvid" posting on the paper-roll mathematics thread last night? Unless I'm VERY much mistaken, corvid was a banned alias of our old friend chaos., the loony. It's odd, but some "permanent" bans seem to lapse of their own accord after about a year, whereas some last for all eternity.

CORVID! That's a blast from the past.

I think maybe some temporary bans were assumed to be permanent ones.. either that or there's a glitch.

Fortunately for me, I don't need to worry about it anymore! thank god!
