You know it makes sense John

I still say a pair of Shiva's would rock his world. They hammer in a 1.8 cube box sealed, and can thunder in a larger ported box,all on as little as 200 watts each, and they're dvc's.
It sounds like he wants to do a radical install(like us crazy americans)and the threshold of pain #'s will probably just get him juiced.
I wish there was a way you could hear one of these things. They aren't much to look at but for some, that doesn't matter. They might even ship over there, not sure.Could always email Dan Wiggins(ceo)to find out I guess.
On a side note,I found out last night that if they can get 40 orders together, they'll start making an 18" sub that'll take 1000 watts,no sweat.
$225.Think that would rattle the fillings right out of his teeth?

Well, some good ideas for you Barry. If you want to go for the ebay option then I'll happily help you fit it, same for the subs if you buy the right boxes. I personally couldn't be bothered with the hassle of buying from across the pond, and I know ScoobyDoc has had some real problems. But if you want extreme kit, you have to ask an American! I'd be delighted to help you fit 'em. Steve can you advise on sourcing these subs/boxes - any links?

Talking

That's CRAZY american John.
I'm sorry, but I've always built my own boxes so I'm no real help with pre-fab units(efforts ).QLogic is the biggest name here, but IMO is pretty vague. As you know, the box size will dictate wheather it's an sq or spl system. That's what I like about the Adire's.A very wide range of tunability. So for sq,he needs to know the limits of his front stage before aquiring a box.For spl,I guess it doesn't matter, just build or buy the highest spl box for the chosen driver. The Adire subs are very forgiving and minor deviations from an ideal tuning fqzy in box size could be compensated with polyfill.
If he could handle a 4 cube box,he could hit 152.3 dbl's with 1 Tempest with about 500 watts,and that's a posted,legal,USAC score.
This sounds like what he's looking for.I'm still waiting for my Tempest(this is a rather small company)but the UK is listed in the order form.If help is needed in getting one there, just ask.I'll gladly help.
Dollar for dollar, watt for watt, they can't be beat.I know what the Shiva sounds like,I can't wait for my Temp!
