Aint got that much here, but Friend came back from Egypt last night had to be diverted from gatwick to Stansted. A120 really bad, car just left in the roads. She got in about 2.30am this morning and is up for work as I type.
WILLIAM DE FERRERS SCHOOL SHUT TOO. Courts is well happy
Got a call at 5 this morning from my boss telling me not to worry about coming in.
We got a bit of snow in Rainham but could still drive if I wanted to but he lives in the middle of nowhere in Hertfordshire and apparently thats not so clever.
driving conditions are absolutely terrible. A13 is nicely gritted up to lakeside then after there, they obviously dont have gritters!!!! like a bloody ski slope all the way into London!!!!!!
called in and booked a days hol. roads round be me are awful and the trains are pants too. Plus even if i made it as far as the tubes they cattle trucked as well.

Trains are fine only took an extra 15 mins to get in (at the moment).... BUT most tubes aren't running and there are NO buses
I made it in !!!!! (and I've only got a 2wd baked bean can!)
Supposed to be working in High Easter, i.e. last part of the journey is 3 miles of single track country lanes with ditches either side. and i'd be in the Trafic not the scoob. Not worth the risk.

Yeah I'm in agreement with you mate , Supposed to be @ Frinton , It's bleak thee on a good day , Sure i could of got there somehow , But the met office is forecasting heavy snow 3 - 6pm later today , So getting home may have been a problem , My Scudo scares the ****e out of me in ice let alone a few inches of snow !!
I remember it snowing heavily a few years ago, when I got to the refinery, there wasn't any trace of snow. It must have its own micro climate!.
It certainly does. Most of the roads around the process units aren't just clear of snow but most are completely dry! So much heat is generated by this place, you really notice it in this weather.
