Been a few light flurries on and off all day here (just outside Colchester) but it's snowing very hard and starting to settle now.

Looie 01 February 2009 08:37 PM

Quite a bit settled now here in Harlow....

bugeyeandy 01 February 2009 08:46 PM

Loads here in W.London now , settling nicely too. Glad i'm on nights tomorrow, all the other numpties should have cleared the roads for me :)

kin quick 01 February 2009 08:47 PM

Got close to a couple of inches in Grays, just got to work and most "sane" people were doing 25-30mph on the A13 into London, except for the tw@ts doing 70ish in the outside lane, even though you couldn't actually see the outside lane :brickwall

It's even settled in most of London, I've never seen that before in the 14 years I've worked up here..............the van is absolute PANTS in the snow, thought I could have some fun, but it's useless - but some of our carparks are quite big :norty:

TomR555 01 February 2009 08:55 PM

id say a good 3 or 4 cm here in Romford

stuart n 01 February 2009 09:01 PM

Just got back from the girfriends and the A12 Stanway bypass was covered in snow, it was snowing quite hard most of the way back to mine.
If it carries on like this I may not be able to get to work tomorrow :)

TomR555 01 February 2009 09:03 PM

think i mite go for a spin . . . . . . or 2 :norty:

I remember it snowing heavily a few years ago, when I got to the refinery, there wasn't any trace of snow. It must have its own micro climate!.
