Hi Chris, I would think a "T" is o.k. if you are that greedy !

And yes the Samco makes way more noise than the DV and for longer.... don't need the DV anyway, so bung for me next weekend.

The map from Pat was really bad, did not max out the maf but i could not put my foot down in 4th it would just cut out. He said this was due to the spark plugs so i got 8's put in and it was still the same.

It was on or off with the power no in between and if i touch the pedal just a little the car would push out loads on fuel and bang like it had anti lag!

Still got a reading off 381bhp at 1.5 bar at surrey rolling road though.

I have a very big feeling TOT Devil rollers are under reading, iv been looking at loads of maps and my car holds 1.7 bar to the red line so im gonna go for another run somewhere else so my mind can settle.

Looking forward to my passenger laps in this, when it's all sorted, if that offer still stands.

Yep !

Mark @ Lateral supplied me with a breather delete version,

So catch can needed, the std. intake must really work well to damp out the noise, because it sounds mental. KojaK will have to do a "fly-by" with my new toy (camera) running to stick on YouTube.... later !

LOL

I'm usually in an LDV mini-bus with the bobble hat on to keep warm, saw you (?) near Co-op (Beeston) the other day, or a look-a-like ?

Yes play with AVCS when mapping, yes worth changing the headers..
ported work well but at this power level I would go tubular.. the 3bolt flanged one work very well and come with their own uppipe.

Simon
I thought it was only the MY05 STi onwards that have AVCS?

The STi has had AVCS on since inseption in 2001, but only on the inlet side, the latest 2008 STi engine has it on both inlet and exhaust.
