No idea to the twin coils I am afraid.. but the fact that they are both similar figures may suggest they are okay.

Have yuou tried adding extra earthing?

Search for "Earthing Mod" should bring up a thread on how to do it.

Did the earth mod - seemed to make a difference at first and exhaust note became deeper and more rumbly. Sadly has gone back to it's old ways and I just suspect either a coincidence or that I disturbed something unrelated that is the real cause of the problems.

May just try replacing the coil. Mixture is supposedly ok, it's not an on boost problem, as for timing the crank sensor has been changed - I suppose I could change the cam sensor too. Delta dash looks ok though so I just suspect the spark strengths are sub standard and that good misture isn't burning well. I've been told 'if your coil is going they run like a dog' - well mine runs ok, just no guts and idles a little lumpily.
