As long as you keep away from those monster munch we are looking at a low 11???? Which would be constant rather than luck ???

My old Clio Turbo (converted Valver) at Santa Pod back in 2005:
13.359 sec @ 107.36 mph
60 ft 2.298 - could never get it launched properly but once it dug in it was mental.

If I get time I will find my printouts and post them up, but untill then I managed
14.4@98 mph
2x 14.6@108 mph (both about the same speed)
and a 14.9 can't remember the speed
These were in a standard uk wagon at the pod.

I don't think anyone is telling porkies, but still find it hard to believe that a STANDARD wrx can run low 13's.

Just my oppinion though.

Loose lots of weight or go for around 650bhp. I put my figures into a stats calculator for when my car gets tweaked on 2nd May and even with that power it barely breaks into the 10's

Power at Flywheel (BHP) : 600
Weight without Driver (KG) : 1435
Power to Weight Ratio (BHP Per Ton) : 424.83
0-60 (Secs) : 2.90
0-100 (Secs) : 6.696
Quarter Mile (Secs) : 11.32
Terminal Speed (MPH) : 130.08
Drag Strip Quarter Mile (Secs) : 10.92
Drag Strip Terminal Speed (MPH) : 134.60

Very impressive with your power output

We had a quick chat on Sunday. What times were you getting before you stripped the weight off?

Ran 13.00 at crail @ 106mph at the weekend with 345bhp and a 60ft time of 1.8secs
I thought it would be mid 12s with that 60ft time and that power ???

xxx bhp does not = xx.xx 1/4mile time.

Lots of variables: choice of mods, driver, strength of the horses.

You should be able to improve upon you 60ft time and get into high 12s.

Where are you with yours now?

Shouldn't you be in the 9s already with all that money poured into it?

roflol

I suspect it could be around 11.0secs with the right driver, so it would never happen whilst I own the car!

I might turn up at Avon Park in the near future and throw someone who can drive good 1/4's, the keys for a couple of runs..... just to see what it can do. First person who gets a 10sec, receives a £100!

Applications in writing please!

I wouldn't want to watch someone else get a new car PB in my car either

Would be like watching someone making love to your woman better than you ever could.

Could watch and pick up some tips, but it could haunt you...

...or just just play it safe and look away.

Finn, it wasn't very good. I put a thread up on scoobynet about it and have mentioned it in quite a few other threads . I kept missing gears all the time and averaged 12 secs on all runs, and that was with a boot full of bags etc from my weekend . I was getting laughed at by the commentator and the official photographer who were waiting for me to get a better time but it never happened. I'm getting rid of my quickshift so hopefully no more missed gears On a plus side my launches were excellent and averaged 1.6/1.7 60foot times
