To be honest the car runs sweet as it is, I will be having it mapped in the summer, the car has got a cat back 3" systom on it and a panel filter.
Given the fact that Scooby clinic did the engine and the reputation they have got, I'd expect the engine to have been already checked and tested., as I've said it was noticably better as soon as I picked it up after new engine.
The car is fitted with a detachable tow bar too so I suppose it's pulled something before I had it ( not sure but I wouldn't have though pulling anything with a highly strung engine is gonna do it any good) all I know is that I treat this engine better than I treat my bitch.
I've always thought Subaru engines were bomb proof, and once you've had one go on you, unless you've got plenty of poppy, I think I ve lost a little faith in it, and the thought of it going again just puts the sh..s up me a bit, especially with the work situation at the mo (I'm a joiner in the building trade) hence why I've got a wagon for the tools.

tell me about it, ive got my own building firm and were dead quiet at the mo. Id still get it checked out reputation or no reputation. at end of the day, it'll be your hard earned cash ya have to splash out if another engine goes!
