Exe-tc make the Exe-tc suspension, you can buy them from the likes of Lateral, Zen and RCMS, who all use them on their TA cars.

It is in a different league to AST, more akin to the pukka rally kits from the likes of Ohlins, Proflex and Reiger.

Suspension choice has now been narrowed down to two,

Any Clubman Spec cars out there running Exe-tc suspension set ups (Long stroke Tarmac), Pro class feel free to give your input, in need of more input from real time users.

Any Clubman Spec cars out there running Proflex suspension set ups (Long stroke Tarmac), Pro class feel free to give your input, in need of more input from real time users.

Regards, John

The car is now at the workshop so we should be able to get things moving along now. Nothing has been done since our last post.

I was running AST in early 2007 in Time Attack and switched to Exe-tc, and the difference was night and day.

I have the Track version, but even set on the softest the dampers would go, the road journeys were very compliant. Wind them a few clicks harder and they really start to work on the car on track.

The do exactly what they say on the tin, one of my better buys for the car IMO.

Due to work commitments not a lot has happend in the workshop, but at least while I am on my travels I have been collecting a few items, as always its going to be late nights when I get back to get the car finished in time.

Things left to source still,

ECU
Engine
Rear Diff
Brakes
Wheels

Who said this was a good idea..
